Hello,
Sorry, but you can't change your APAAR ID after submitting the JEE Mains 2026 application form, as it's not an editable field. The APAAR ID is a unique and permanent ID that can't be modified in the correction window. You must ensure it's correct when you first fill out the form. Here in this article you will find more about the JEE Mains application.
I hope it will clear your query!!
Hello,
You should register for backup exams, as they provide more opportunities for admission to engineering colleges. Good option to consider alongside JEE are BITSAT for BITS campus, VITEEE for VIT campus, and various state-level exams like WBJEE for west benfgal and MHT CET for maharashtra.
I hope it will clear your query!!
For which subject ? if you are searching for physics , refer the edunity formula sheet , and for math PW MInd Map pdf...
Hello,
If your family income is actually less than Rs. 1 lakh, then you
must correct it
during the
JEE correction window
.
If you keep the wrong income (up to Rs. 1 lakh), the college may
not
give you fee waiver or EWS-based tuition fee benefits. So correcting it is better.
About the correction fee:
Usually,
JEE does not charge extra
for changing basic details like income or category documents during the correction window. But if you change something that affects the application fee (like category), then a fee difference may apply.
For income detail change only,
you normally do not need to pay anything
.
So yes, correct it if your real income is below Rs. 1 lakh. It will help you during counselling and fee waiver.
Hope it helps !
Hello,
It should not cause a big problem , but you must correct it during JEE Main form correction window .
Here is the simple rule:
Your JEE application name must match your Aadhaar details as much as possible.
If you wrote only name + surname from your Class 10 marksheet, and your Aadhaar has name + father’s name + surname , then it is better to update it in the correction window .
What to do:
Wait for the form correction window to open.
Edit your name in the JEE form to match your Aadhaar card .
Save and submit.
If correction is allowed, everything will be fine.
If correction is not allowed, don’t worry too much. Carry your Class 10 certificate and Aadhaar card during exam, the NTA usually accepts it if your identity is clear.
Hope it helps !
Hello,
No, there is no correction window for changing your Aadhar photo after you have already submitted the JEE form, and it could be a big issue during the exam. You must visit an Aadhaar enrollment center to update your Aadhaar photo, which can't be done online.
I hope it will clear your query!!

Hey there,
Your OBC-NCL certificate will not be valid for the JEE Mains 2026 application as it is from June 2024. You can apply for a new one as soon as possible. For the JEE Mains, the OBC-NCL certificate should be issued on or after 1 April 2025.
And as for your Aadhar, the mistakes in your name and Date of Birth will be an issue during the document verification process. The details should match your 10th-class certificate. So you will also need to update it as soon as possible.
Hope it helps!!!
The difficulty of the JEE Main exam is consistently rated as moderate to tough, making it one of the most challenging entrance tests globally.
Here's a breakdown of why it's considered tough and how the difficulty is managed:
Vast Syllabus: It comprehensively covers the entire Class 11 and 12 Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) syllabus. You must master all concepts from the NCERT curriculum and beyond.
Speed vs. Accuracy: The exam requires you to solve many complex problems in a limited time (typically 90 questions in 3 hours). The challenge isn't just knowing the answer, but applying concepts rapidly.
Conceptual Depth: Questions often test deep conceptual understanding and application rather than simple memorization of formulas.
Subject Variation: While Physics and Chemistry often remain manageable, the Mathematics section is frequently cited as the most lengthy and difficult part of the paper.
The key to succeeding in a tough exam is not worrying about the overall difficulty, but developing a strategy based on analysis.
Analyze Trends: By studying previous year papers, you can pinpoint specific topics that carry the highest weightage and practice them extensively.
Regular Mock Tests: Consistent practice under timed conditions helps you simulate the exam environment and improve your decision-making and time management skills.

Hello Satyam,
Yes, your EWS certificate is valid.
In Bihar, the EWS certificate can be issued by the Circle Officer, BDO, SDO, or DM. So a certificate signed by the Circle Officer (Revenue Officer) is acceptable.
If the format of your certificate is the same as the Central Government EWS format, then it is valid for JEE Main registration and also for JoSAA counselling. The heading “Government of Bihar” does not create any problem.
Just remember one point:
For
JoSAA 2026
, you will need an EWS certificate issued on or after 1 April 2025. Even if your current certificate works for registration, you must update it before counselling.
Hope it helps !
