IIM Bangalore is the second-best B-School in India, offering a four-year B.Sc hons program with specialisation in Economics and Data Science through their IIMB UG Test, which is their own entrance test. Those students who like to interpret data, identify numbers, and trends, then this course can lead to a successful career. This is a new program offered at IIM Bangalore, and is being offered by a reputed institute; you can expect the best placement outcomes.
IIM Lucknow also offers four-five years of B.S program in AI and Business Analytics through JEE Advanced. IIM Lucknow is the fifth-best B-School in India as per the NIRF ranking.
IIM Mumbai launched a new program last month, which is a four-year BS program in Digital Science and Business Management at its Pune campus. This institute is renowned as the 6th best B-School in India and accepts JEE Main scores for admission.
IIM Sambalpur is counted among the top 34th B-Schools in India and accepts JEE Main score for admission in a four-year BS program in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence or BS in Management and Policy program.
These are the programs that a PCM student can choose from, other than the B.Tech program. If you can distinguish between the junk data and the real data, understand numbers, like mathematics, like statistics, and can draw patterns out of numbers, then all these mentioned programs are the right fit for you. These are the options for the PCM student that provide far better student outcomes than B.Tech programs offered at some of the best institutions, even at some of the NIFTs, GFTIs, or IITs.

IIM Lucknow accepts JEE Advanced scores for providing admission in the B.S. program, while IIM Sambalpur and IIM Mumbai accept JEE Main scores for B.S admission. IIM Bangalore conducts its own entrance exam for admission, so you can get into the B.S. program at IIM Bangalore through the IIMB UG test.

Now, let us take a closer look at the IIM Mumbai program. IIM Mumbai has launched a new program, a BS in Digital Science and Business Management, for the 2026-2030 batch. As this is a newly launched program, the 2026-2030 batch will be the first, and the program will be available at its Pune satellite campus.
PCM students with Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subjects are eligible for admission to this program at IIM Mumbai. A minimum of 60 per cent marks is required in Class 12 for general category students, and for SC, ST, and PwD category students, the minimum marks requirement is 55 per cent.
JEE Main 2026 is the main pathway for admission, and 15th June 2026 is the last date to apply for this program. Use your JEE Main rank properly and fill the application form now!
Admission is based on the performance in JEE Main Paper-1. Candidates can apply directly on their IIM Mumbai portal. A personal interview will be conducted for the shortlisted candidates in late June or early July. After that, a final merit list will be prepared based on the JEE Main and personal interview. The batch will start from July 2026.
This course mainly focuses on AI and Machine Learning, Data Science and Analytics, IoT and Hyper-Automation, Blockchain Technology, Core Business Management, and Digital Strategy and Operations.
The total fees for a BS programme are in the range of Rs. 24-32 lakh. Despite the relatively high fee structure, this institute is considered worthwhile because of its outstanding ROI. Pursuing an undergraduate course at a reputed institute like IIM Mumbai is the foundation of a secure career path.

IIM Bangalore offers a four-year BSc Hons in Economics or BSc Hons in Data Science program based on the performance in their own entrance test. This institute conducts the IIMB UG Admission tests for BSc (Hons) Data Science. This is a two-hour entrance test which includes 60 MCQs with negative marking. The annual fee for the program is Rs. 7 Lakhs. The application for BS admission at IIM Bangalore has already been closed. Students who are currently studying in Class 12 can consider this opportunity for the next year.

IIM Sambalpur offers the BS DSAI and the BS Management & Public Policy programs, and it is mandatory to have a valid JEE Main 2026 Score for admission in these BS programs. Candidates will be shortlisted based on the JEE Score, and then a personal interview will be conducted for the shortlisted candidates. The final merit list will be prepared. Total fee for a four-year program is Rs. 25,97,000.

The BS programs' fee at IIMs usually falls between Rs. 24 Lakh and Rs. 28 Lakh. All offered BS programs are four-year undergraduate programs preferred for PCM students, and most IIMs accept JEE scores for admission in these programs.
