JEE main is not one and only entrance exam to get seat in Aeronautical Engineering.Ofcourse if you appear for JEE main and JEE advanced and qualify, you will get a seat in prestigious institutes like IITs/NITs/IIITs.Apart from JEE there are other private institutes or deemed universities who conduct their own entrance exam for various B.tech courses including aeronautical engineering. Also JEE main score in accepted by many colleges. You can choose any way to get in Aeronautical Engineering depending upon your choice of college.
I hope this is helpful to you.
A diploma student who has completed his degree or is in his final year, is eligible to apply for JEE Main. But he won't be able to pursue admission in NIT. The candidate must clear JEE Mains after which he has to clear JEE advanced.
There are 2 types of papers. Paper 1 is for B.Tech (Engineering) and paper 2 is for B.Arch (Architecture). For paper 1, the syllabus includes Physics, chemistry and mathematics. The paper will contain 30 MCQs for each of the subjects mentioned.
Refer to the syllabus of class 11th and 12th for PCM. Also, go through some reference books and try solving as many MCQs as possible. Try looking for short cut methods to solve sums in order to save time. You can also refer YouTube for tricks to solve difficult sums. Also try not to use guessing game as it might affect your marks. Go for an answer only if you are sure of it.
A candidate belonging to reserved category must provide a caste certificate issued by the competent authority in the prescribed format by the Government of India. As long as you have a valid certificate you don't need to worry. If your present caste certificate is in correct order then you are good to carry it.And yes, you can provide your caste certificate at the time of JEE main counselling.
Some of the tips that I can give you is stay honest with yourself. Make a schedule for yourself and start following it regularly. Try to solve as many as mcqs and numericals possible especially for physics and maths. And for chemistry, try to read as much as more as you can and also practice mcqs for organic chemistry and numericals for physical chemistry. Take help of good books.
And don't forget to give mock tests. They will help you a lot to make you realize the pattern of the paper and syllabus and accordingly you can find where you lag and what you need to work on.
Best wishes. thankyou.
