The candidates can download the provisional seat allotment letter for special centralised counselling round till the extended date i.e. August 10, 2017. Candidates will have to report to the institutes till 5 pm on the extended date. Candidates can download the provisional seat allotment letter by using their roll number or application number, round, password and date of birth. The registration for institutional preference and on institutional basis has commenced for the candidates. The last date to download the seat allotment letter for counselling of intermediate and qualifying examination rounds was extended to August 3, 2017. MP BE 2017 Seat Allotment letter has been released for candidates of JEE Main and qualifying exam. Candidates had to register and fill their choices on the basis of their JEE Main and qualifying exam scores. Candidates who were already registered can make changes in choice filling by paying 100 rupees. It may be noted that counselling was held for candidates who have filled the application forms on the basis of their JEE Main 2017 ranks. Second round of seat allotment 2017 was declared on July 18.
Counselling process for the MP BE Admission 2017 started with the registration and filling of the MP BE Application form.
Registration: Candidates have to enter their JEE Main 2017 Roll No and other details as specified.
Document Verification: Candidates have to report to the helpline centres with all the requisite documents as specified to confirm their eligibility for the admissions to the BE courses in Madhya Pradesh.
Choice Filling: Candidates must fill their choices and lock them in order of their preference of course and college. They must pay a fee of Rs 1530 inclusive of counselling fee of Rs 400, Admission fee of Rs 1000 and service charges of Rs 130 through Paytm or Internet Banking or Debit/ Credit Cards.
The authorities of DTE have released the Common Merit List for candidates of JEE Main and qualifying exam. The MP BE 2017 Merit list for the first and second round of counselling has been announced on June 25 & July 16, 2017 respectively by DTE Madhya Pradesh. The merit list has been decided on the basis of the JEE Main merit ranks and the selected choices of the candidates. The merit list is separate for each category.
The authorities of MP BE 2017 have released the cutoff for Intermediate and qualifying round. The cutoff for Round 1 & 2 for JEE Main candidates, Upgradation of Round 1, Internal Change cutoff and cutoff for candidates who have applied through qualifying exam are also available. The cutoff of MP BE has been released with the opening and closing ranks and includes the name of the institute, type of the institute, branch, allotted category, total allotted and whether the candidate is a J &K Resident or Migrant and the domicile status. Candidates aspiring to take admission to different engineering colleges in Madhya Pradesh for various programmes are required to fulfil the MP BE Eligibility Criteria 2017. Under the Eligibility Criteria of MP BE 2017, candidates are required to clear the JEE Main 2017 exam, which is conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). They must also check the age requirements, requisite marks for applying to the engineering programme, domicile of candidates, reservation criteria. At the time of MP BE Counselling 2017, candidates need to ensure that they have all the required documents for verification or else their candidature might stand cancelled.
Candidates must have passed 10+2 from the Madhya Pradesh Secondary Board or any equivalent exam from a recognized board.
They must have secured a minimum aggregate of 45% of marks (SC/ST candidates the criteria is 40%)
They must have studied Physics and Maths as compulsory subjects with Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/Computer Science as the optional subjects in their 10+ 2
Candidates must be residents of MP and must fulfil the domicile requirements of MP as specified.
They must have appeared for JEE Main 2017.
Candidates belonging to different categories, seeking admission to MP BE programmes in different colleges are required to fill the MP BE 2017 Application form and register themselves online, based on the MP BE Eligibility Criteria 2017.
