---|---|
Physics | 50 |
Chemistry | 50 |
Mathematics | 70 |
English and Aptitude | 30 |
All questions carry one mark. There is no negative marking. The exam would last for 2 hours and 30 minutes.
Focus on High-Weightage Chapters: Focus more on high-weightage chapters across subjects to build those areas that can give higher scores.
Create a Study Plan: Make a daily study plan so that these high-weightage chapters are given priority. It is sure coverage with clear familiarity with the most important topics.
Daily Practice: Daily Practice is a must for subjects like Mathematics and Physics. Practice problems daily, making sure to cover the weightage of chapters, to increase speed and accuracy.
Mock Tests and Previous Papers: Practice MET mock tests, besides referring to past MET question papers to know the topics that are pretty regularly covered, and assess the difficulty level of the exam.
Daily Review: Daily Review of weightage chapters anchors key concepts and, thereby, eliminates last-moment stress.
Total questions: 200, divided into four subjects: Physics 50, Chemistry 50, Mathematics 70, and English and Aptitude 30. No negative marking. Total time: 2 hours 30 minutes.
High-weightage chapters
Physics: Electrostatics 10, Magnetic Effects 8
Chemistry: Coordination Chemistry 8, Electrochemistry 7
Mathematics: Calculus 12, Vector Algebra 9
Focus on high-weightage chapters first, for instance, Calculus in Math and Electrostatics in Physics. Prepare a plan and cover all the topics.
Inevitably, it involves solving problems daily, giving mock tests, and then revising previous papers to improve speed and accuracy, especially in high-weightage areas.
The sections might be smaller than others but contribute to your overall score. Engage in grammar, vocabulary, and logical reasoning to do well.
