I got 98.77 precentile in jee mains 2021. I am planning to take CSE core. Will i get this course in NIT? Which NIT will be best for it even if I dont give jee advanced?

aditya 15th May, 2021

Hello Anagha

I hope you are doing good. I would like to tell you that at your percentile you estimated rank would be around 12583 - 14145 . At this rank you hold very good  chances of getting admission in NITs like bhopal, patna and meghalaya  and calicut(if home state quota). I would advise you to go for these nits as they are very good for placements

you can use JEE-Main College Predictor to predict your chances of admission in different engineering colleges of India :-

My son is an OCI card holder and has completed his 10th & 12th in India and also we have been residing in India for the past 14 years. Will he be considered under the general category for VIT/SRM/IIT JEE and NIT? What will be the Fees Structure? Can anyone help me ?

ayan mukherjee 15th May, 2021

Dear aspirant,

As you mentioned your son has done schooling from India and you all have been residing for 14 years . So you need not worry your son is eligible for the general category.

Coming to the fees of the colleges you mentioned-

VIT vellore- It has five categories and accordingly the fees increases. The first category total fees including hostel would be somewhat between 15L . The 2nd category has  almost 18-19L.

Srm - It too has same fees as vit vellore 2nd category.

Nits- These are government institutions and if of national importance. It has fees approximately 8L . But it is more less due to fee remission provided by the institutes bases on family income.

Can I still get under 2000 rank in jee advanced 2021 if I start my revision from today

ayan mukherjee 15th May, 2021

Dear aspirant,

Jee advanced as you are aware is the one of the most toughest exams in India. It requires tremendous amount of hardwork and dedication to crack the exam. Coming to the revision , it doesn't require only one revision. You have to be in practice as well and schedule your revision accordingly. Correct your mistakes by solving more papers and analyse what changes can be made during your revision to ensure more marks and accuracy.

If you did this you will definitely get a rank under 2000.
