JEE Advanced Rank List 2021 - Tie-breaking rule
In case two or more candidates have obtained the same marks in JEE Advanced 2021 exam then the following tie-breaking rule will be followed while preparing the rank list.
Candidates with more positive marks will be given a higher rank.
If the tie still continues, the candidate with a higher score in Mathematics will be given a higher preference.
If the tie is not yet broken, the candidates who have a higher score in Physics will be allotted a higher rank.
Finally, if the tie still persists, then the candidates will be given the same ranks.

I submitted my EWS certifi.(issued Jan2021) during JEE MAINS 2021 registration, but in JEE advanced I Gave exam As Gen. clicking that i Have no valid EWS certificate post 1st April,but now In the JOSAA couselling EWS category is Maintained in my profile. Can I submit that certifi. on online report?
If it's reflecting in your JOSAA profile then it would be better to upload the EWS certificate. But make sure that the EWS certificate is as per the format they have given and the date issued should be on or post 1st April 2021.

Hi, Your JEE Advance holds more value. When you apply to a college on the basis of JEE exams then your AIR is taken into consideration and not your rank of category. If you have given Advance your that marks will be considered. Hope this helps. If you have doubt please feel free to comment.
