NITs Cutoff for B.Tech Mechanical Engineering - JoSAA has released the NIT Mechanical Engineering cutoff for round 4 on the official website, josaa.nic.in. Candidates can check the NIT cutoff for BTech Mechanical Engineering to determine the minimum rank required for admission. The cutoff for NITs in BTech Mechanical Engineering will be based on the rank obtained in the JEE Main exam. Additionally, the cutoff percentile for BTech Mechanical Engineering will vary by course and category.

Candidates whose rank is more than the NIT cutoff for BTech ME will be considered for admission. NIT admission are based on JEE Main ranks, and applicants who qualify the JEE Mains 2025 exam must participate in the JoSAA counselling process for admission. The authority shall consider the following conditions to determine the NITs cutoff for ME 2025.
The level of difficulty exam.
Total number of candidates taking the JEE Main.
Number of questions asked in the exam.
Candidates opting for ME.
Sanctioned seats are available at the institute.
Performance of candidates in the exam ( if candidates perform well overall, it will push up the cutoff).
Previous year’s cutoff trend.
NITs Cutoff will be available for each category. Also, individual institutes will have separate BTech Mechanical Engineering cutoff marks
The concerned authorities will announce the official NITs Cutoff for B.Tech ME after completion of the JEE Mains exam.
Only candidates who will be meeting the cutoff rank will be eligible for admission and the seat allotment process.
Scores below the cutoff rank will not be considered for admission.
B.Tech ME cutoff for NITs will be published by coaching institutes as well, but they are unofficial
By analyzing cutoffs, candidates visualize the rank or mark that will be needed to get admission to the course and at a particular institute
