NITs Cutoff for B.Tech Mechanical Engineering - JoSAA will release the NIT Mechanical Engineering cutoff on the official website, josaa.nic.in. Candidates can check the cutoff of NITs for BTech Mechanical Engineering to know the minimum rank required for admission. NIT cutoff for BTech Mechanical Engineering will be based on the rank secured in the JEE Main exam. Moreover, the NIT cutoff percentile for B.Tech Mechanical Engineering will vary for each course and category. Candidates whose rank is more than the NIT cutoff for BTech ME will be considered for admission. NIT admission is based on JEE Main rank. Applicants who qualify the JEE Mains 2025 exam must participate in the JoSAA counselling for the admission process. i have my name in marksheet as ' last name first name middle name ' but my aadhar card has first name middle name and last name . Will it be ok if i fill the form of jee mains without any change?

Yes, it should be okay to fill out the JEE Main application form without changing your name if your name on the form matches the name on your class 10th mark sheet. The JEE Main application form allows corrections to a candidate's name as per their class 10th mark sheet.

Jee main 2025 registration form is out??

Yes, the JEE Main 2025 registration for the January session has started. The National Testing Agency (NTA) opened the application process on October 28, 2024. Aspiring candidates have until November 22, 2024, to complete their registration on the official JEE Main website, [jeemain.nta.nic.in](http://jeemain.nta.nic.in). The application requires uploading personal details, academic qualifications, and necessary documents, such as a recent photograph and signature. Candidates can also select their preferred exam cities during registration. The exam will be conducted from January 22 to January 31, 2025, and results are expected by February 12, 2025.

JEE Main 2025 will be available in 13 languages, including English, Hindi, and regional languages. Successful performance in JEE Main is essential for admission into top engineering institutes like NITs and IIITs and also serves as a qualifier for JEE Advanced, which is required for IIT admissions.

If I get less than 75 will I still get nit in counseling rounds and then during verification I will be out ? I am a dropper and scored 74.8 percent can I put 75 percent in jee application form instead of 74.8? Before improvement . How will they know after improvement i scored better ? please help

If your actual percentage is 74.8%, then do not fill 75% in the JEE Main application form.

Misleading information will lead to extreme cases such as disqualification. One should always be truthful and transparent with one's application.

Here is how things would go on.

First Counseling: You would get a counseling on the basis of your first score of JEE Main and 10th percentage 74.8%.

Improvement Exam: If you get your 12th board percentage improved up to 75% above, then you will be eligible for further rounds of counseling.

Document Verification: Once the counseling process begins you have to submit the original 12th mark sheet with improved percentage in case of improvement exam.

What to Remember

Be true: Fill up your application form with correct information

Focus on Improvement Exam: Strive hard for your improvement in 12th board percentage.

Update about Counseling Rounds: Note down the counseling dates and prepare for further rounds of counseling.

Ensure all your documents are prepared so that you can provide the same to the officials while being counseled

Jee Main 2025 -For Maharashtra the class X ICSE certificate print surname first name and father name (ex surname is X first name is Y and father name is Z. so the certificate will have X Y Z printed. In Aadhar the name get print as Y Z X, so the query is which format to use while filling the form

You must fill up the same name that appears on your 10th mark sheet

If your marks sheet includes X Y Z, in this case only you shall fill the marks sheet X Y Z inside your application form for the JEE examination; on the whole other official papers you just have to take the name constant throughout without which again there arises verification procedure troubles.
