GATE 2025 Cutoff for IITs: COAP will release the GATE cutoff for IITs on the official website. IIT M.Tech cutoff will be available after each round of counselling. The cutoff of GATE for IIT will be available as the minimum and maximum score. Candidates whose score on the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering is more or equal to the cutoff score will be considered for admission to the M.Tech program offered in the IITs. Admission Procedure for IITs through GATE 2025

GATE 2025 does not have a centralized counselling process. The candidates will have to individually apply for admission at their preferred Indian Institute of Technology. While some IITs take direct admission based on GATE 2025 scores, some institutes will also conduct an additional entrance test or interview to review the candidate’s qualifications. GATE Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP) is a common platform where the candidates will have to register for IIT admissions after applying individually. The candidates will be able to check the list of admission offers in one platform and accordingly select their preferences.

I had opted to be considered under both the HD Test and GATE Score for admission under BITS. After the first iteration, I have already been allocated to a program that was my first priority. Also completed the fee payment process. So if my admission is already done do I need to appear for exam.

  • No need to appear for further exams if the admission is already finalized.
