AP PGECET counselling 2018 - The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education will be conducting AP PGECET 2018 counselling tentatively in fourth week of August. The counselling of AP PGECET 2018 will be conducted separately for GATE & GPAT qualified candidates and entrance test qualified candidates. The AP PGECET counselling 2018 will include process like choice filling, document verification, payment of fees, seat allotment etc. Candidates need to report to the notified Help Line Centres for document verification. AP PGECET Counselling 2018
All the qualified candidates who will be eligible to participate in AP PGECET 2018 counselling round will have to follow mentioned below steps:
Steps to participate in AP PGECET 2018 Counselling
Step 1- Register and make fee payment for document verification: All the shortlisted candidates who will be appearing for the AP PGECET 2018 counselling will have to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs.1000 (for OC/BC) and Rs.500 (for SC/ST). The counselling fees can be paid in online mode by the candidate using credit/debit card or through net banking. To pay the counselling fee of AP PGECET 2018, candidates will have to log-in into their accounts by entering their hall ticket number and rank. Once the payment is made, note the transaction ID or take a print out for the receipt to produce at the time of document verification.
Note: The counselling fee of AP PGECET 2018 should be paid online by the candidate before he/she appears for document verification.
Step 2- Report to the venue for registration and verification
Report to the notified venue, hand over the AP PGECET 2018 rank card to the officer at the entrance. When candidate’s rank is called, inform transaction ID or show processing fee payment receipt, furnish mobile number and Aadhar card number.
Collect the Registration-Cum-Verification form from computer operator at registration counter and check the mobile number printed on it.
Enter details like hall ticket number, rank, signature etc.
After successful registration, report at verification counter for certificate verification.
Step 3- Document Verification
Candidates need to carry mentioned below documents for verification. After document verification, candidates will be issued a receipt of certificates at Help-line Centres.

Rank Card of GATE/GPAT/AP PGECET 2018
SSC, Intermediate, Diploma/Degree Marks Memo
Study/Bonafide Certificate for seven academic years preceding the year of passing qualifying examination
Integrated Caste Certificate of SC/ST/BC/Minorities (if applicable)
Residence certificate/Aadhar card proof of candidate/parents in Andhra Pradesh for a period of 10 years
Income Certificate issued by MRO issued after 1st January of the year of admission [valid for three years from the date of issue] (in case the candidate desires to claim fee exemption).
PH/NCC/CAP/Sports and Games Certificates (if applicable)
Step 4- Choice filling
Once the certificate verification is done at the Help line Centres, candidates will be sent a log-in ID to register mobile number. Using the credentials like registration number, hall ticket number, date of birth, candidates will have to create a password. Using this password and other credentials, log-in to the account for option entry. An OTP will be sent to the registered mobile after successful log-in. Using the OTP candidate can enter the preferential choice number (option) against each college and course he/she wishes to join in case allotted.
Note: Candidates can exercise any number of options and can take print out of the saved options.
Step 5- AP PGECET Seat Allotment 2018
Under this step, candidates will be allotted seats on the basis of their choice filling, merit and availability of seats.
Step- 6 Modification of Options and Freezing
Candidate can change his/her options any number of times during the allotted time. After allotted time for option entry, if a candidate is not satisfied with the options exercised, he/she can modify the options on the dates notified by the authority and this is final opportunity for exercising options.
Step 7- Final seat allotment of AP PGECET 2018
Final AP PGECET 2018 seat allotment will be placed on the Web. Candidates, with downloaded allotment order, have to report through Self-reporting system as well as at the allotted college. Reporting at the both stages are mandatory. If candidate fails to report through self-reporting and reporting at the allotted college by the dates stipulated, the allotment stands cancelled and candidate will have no claim for further allotment of seats.
