Karnataka PGCET Result 2020 - Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) will declare the result of Karnataka PGCET 2020 tentatively in third week of August. Karnataka PGCET 2020 result will be announced in online mode for the candidates who will appear for the entrance test. In order to access the Karnataka PGCET 2020 result, candidates will have to login to their account using their credentials. Karnataka PGCET result 2020 will carry marks and ranks secured in the entrance test. After viewing their results, candidates are suggested to download and take at least 2 print out of the same for future reference. Candidates who will meet the cutoff of Karnataka PGCET 2020 will be called to participate in the counselling process. Also, authorities will prepare separate merit list for the candidates who will apply through Karnataka PGCET and GATE. Eligible candidates will have to report to counselling venue for document verification process in person. Note: Authorities will prepare separate merit list for candidates applying through Karnataka PGCET and GATE. Moreover, separate merit list will be prepared for Kuvempu and Mysore University

There are chances that two or more candidates secure the same marks in the entrance examination. Therefore, to determine the cutoff list, authorities will follow the method of inter-se merit of Karnataka PGCET 2020. Inter-se merit will be determined in the following order:

A Separate rank and merit list will be published for the candidates who have appeared for Karnataka PGCET 2020 and GATE 2020 respectively.

Candidates will be offered admission to desired course based on the marks/ranks secured, choices entered and availability of seats during the counselling and seat allotment process.
Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) will be conducting counselling of Karnataka PGCET 2020. All the candidates who will qualify the entrance test will be called to participate in Karnataka PGCET 2020 counselling in person. While attending the counselling, candidates will have to carry all the required original documents along with a set of photocopies for the document verification process. During counselling, candidates will have to register and enter their preferred choice of college and course. Based on the preferred choices entered, rank/marks secured in entrance examination and availability of seats, candidates will be offered admission. Later, candidates will have to report to the allotted centre to confirm their admission.

Ramu, yes you can appear for Karnataka PGCET though you are from AP. But yes, you will not be considered for Karnataka reservation policy reserved for its Candidates. While 90% of the seats are reserved for Karnataka domicile Candidates, 10% of the seats are reserved for Non Karnataka domicile Candidates.
