Candidates had to register first to fill the application form of Karnataka PGCET 2017. The last date to fill the Karnataka PGCET application was extended till June 5, 2017 (5:30 PM). GATE qualified applicants were exempt from the exam but were required to fill the application form of Karnataka PGCET. Candidates had to log in after successfully registering to fill the application form, pay the fees online or through Echallan, upload images - photograph, signature and left thumb impression and submit it. The Karnataka PGCET 2017 application form was accepted only if all the details, images are in order and the payment was received. Candidates who had qualified in GATE had to fill their GATE details, all personal information had to match the details of Class XI certificate. The applicants were requested to read the eligibility criteria before filling the Karnataka PGCET 2017 Application Form. Only eligible applicants were accepted for the entrance examination. What to Keep Ready Before Filling Karnataka PGCET Application Form 2017?

 

Before filling the Karnataka PGCET 2017 application form, some documents are to be kept ready by the applicants for reference. As most of the information provided in the application form has to match with that of the documents of the applicants, it is advised that the documents be kept with them while filling the form of Karnataka PGCET 2017. Any discrepancy in the information provided in the Karnataka PGCET application form and the documents will lead to the disqualification of the applicant. How to Fill Karnataka PGCET Application Form 2017

 

The application form of Karnataka PGCET 2017 is not available now. To participate in the entrance examination, the applicants had to successfully register themselves. All information submitted in the application form had to be valid. The last day for the submission of the application form was June 5, 2017. Step 1 – Registration

  • The applicants will have to register themselves first.

  • To access Karnataka PGCET 2017 application form, click on the link (Link will be updated as soon as it is released)

  • For successful registration, the applicants will have to fill their details.

  • A unique application number will be generated after the applicant are successful in registering themselves.

  • The applicants must log in again to fill their application form.

Step 2 – Filling the Application Form

 

After logging in, the applicants will have to fill in the Karnataka PGCET application form with all of the required information. Submission of valid information as per the documents of the applicants has to be filled.

  • Personal Details: Various information of the applicant regarding his/her personal details will have to be submitted.

  • The selection of one preferred exam centre will also have to be done.

  • Academic Details: The applicants will be required to enter all of the information regarding their qualifying examination i.e., marks obtained, name of the institute, year of passing and more.

  • GATE 2017: If the applicant has qualified GATE 2017, then the score card has to be uploaded.

  • Postal Address: The postal address of the applicants has to be submitted.

Step 3 – Uploading of Images

 

The scanned images of the applicant’s photograph, signature and left thumb impression have to be uploaded successfully to proceed further. Blurred uploaded pictures will not be accepted. All images has to be as per the specifications mentioned above.

 

Step 4 –Declaration and Submission of application form

 

Candidates must accept the declaration that the information furnished by them is true. After reviewing all of the provided information, the applicants will have to agree to the terms declared in the Karnataka PGCET application form 2017 and submit it. No changes in the application form can be made after submission.

 

Step 5 – Payment of Application Fees

 

There are two methods for the payment of the application fees – online and offline. The applicants can pay the required fees through online mode i.e., net banking/credit card/debit card or through offline mode i.e., by cash at any branch of State Bank of Mysore. The application forms submitted without payment will not be accepted. The payment status can be checked by the applicants after the transaction is complete.

Step 5 - Payment Status

 

Candidates can check the details of their payment status. The receipt will be displayed for all payments that are successful.

 

Step 6 – Print out of Filled Application Form

 

Print out of the filled Karnataka PGCET 2017 application form has to be taken out for future use by the applicants. At least 2 copies of the application form should remain with the applicants.

 

Important Points of Karnataka PGCET Application Form 2017

  • The application form was available only in online mode.

  • Ineligible applicants were rejected by the admission committee.

  • GATE qualified applicants, who did not have to sit for the examination, were still required to submit the Karnataka PGCET application form 2017 before the last date.

  • The generated application number had to be kept safe for future login.

  • Only one examination centre could be selected by the applicants.

  • 2 print outs of the application form, proof of fee payment and 2-3 copies of an identical photograph that were scanned and uploaded in the Karnataka PGCET 2017 application form had to be retained by the applicants.

Change of Password:

Candidates who wished to change their password could do so using this option. The password should have been a minimum of 8 characters and must contain at least 1 Alphabet, 1 Number and 1 Special Character.
