Karnataka PGCET Application Form 2020

To participate in the admission process of Karnataka PGCET 2020, candidates will be required to register and submit the application form. The examination authorities will release the application form of Karnataka PGCET 2020 tentatively in the last week of May. Candidates should make sure that they fill out the application form before the last date which will be tentatively in the last week of June. It should be noted that candidates seeking admission through GATE score will also have to submit the application form.

Steps to fill and submit Karnataka PGCET application form 2020

Step 1 - Registration - Candidates will have to first complete the registration process by entering the following details:

  • Citizenship

  • Candidate’s name

  • Parent(s) name

  • Gender

  • Date of Birth

  • Email Address

  • Password

  • Course or Subject applying for

  • Valid mobile number

After successful registration, a unique application number will be generated which will be used for other future purposes.

Step 2 - Filling of application form - Next, candidates will have to log in to their accounts using the credentials to access the application form of Karnataka PGCET 2020. Candidates will have to enter and submit the following details in the application form.

  • Personal Information - It will include details like gender, category, PwD certificate, nationality, correspondence address and contact number.

  • Academic Information - This section will include details like qualifying examination, marks obtained, the name of the institute, year of passing etc..

  • Test Centre - This section will contain a list of all the test centres where the Karnataka PGCET 2020 will be conducted. Candidates will have to select the test centres as per their preferences.

  • GATE Score - The authorities will also offer admission on the basis of GATE 2020 score/ Therefore, candidates seeking admission through GATE will have to submit the score and will also have to upload the scorecard in a prescribed format.

Step 3 - Uploading documents - After submitting all the required details, candidates will have to next upload their coloured photograph, scanned signature, and thumb impression. All the documents should be uploaded in a format prescribed by the examination authorities.

Step 4 - Payment of application fee - Candidates will also be required to pay the Karnataka PGCET application form 2020 fee. Payment can be done in both online or offline mode. To pay through online mode, candidates can use debit card/credit card/net banking. To pay through offline mode, candidates will have to submit cash at any branch of State Bank of Mysore.

hi,

see karnataka pgcet exam is for admission in mba, mca or m.e /m.tech courses. the eligibility criteria for all course is you need to have 50% marks in your graduation course in relevant discipline. now you need to convert you cgpa to percentage using the conversion rules of your university and apply for  pgcet.

Ramu, yes you can appear for Karnataka PGCET though you are from AP. But yes, you will not be considered for Karnataka reservation policy reserved for its Candidates. While 90% of the seats are reserved for Karnataka domicile Candidates, 10% of the seats are reserved for Non Karnataka domicile Candidates. Now, the official notification for 2020 will be released tentatively during the month of May 2020. Karnataka PGCET registration will be started on May 19, 2020. Exam will be on 20-21 July 2020.
