  • There is no negative marking for incorrect answers.

  • AP PGECET 2020 will be held in two two sessions on May 2, 3 and 4, 2020.

  • The exam will be conducted as an online exam.

  • The questions asked in the exam will be based on the official syllabus of AP PGECET 2020.

  • The exam will have multiple-choice questions and each question will have four options. Candidates will have to select one option out of the four options as their right answer.

  • Candidates will be awarded 1 mark for each correct answer marked by them in the exam and there will be no deduction of marks for incorrect answers.

Qualifying Marks of AP PGECET 2020

Candidates will have to score minimum qualifying percentage marks in the exam in order to obtain a rank in AP PGECET 2020. The qualifying percentage marks for AP PGECET 2020 is 25% i.e. a candidate is required to score at least 30 marks out of 120 in order to obtain a rank. However, there will be no minimum qualifying marks for ranking of SC/ST candidates.

Hello,

AP PGECET 2020 will be conducted by Andhra University on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education ( APSCHE ) in online mode. The annual entrance examination is a gateway for M.Tech admissions into the participating colleges of the state.

This exam is in online mode exam for which the exam duration is 2 hours. Questions in the exam will come of multiple choice questions and in the paper 120 question will be there.

sorry to say non ap candidates are not eligible to participate in appgecet exam, 85% of seats are reserve for local candidates, and remaining 15% of seat are unreserved. however the candidates who meets the below criteria is eligible to admission in remaining 15% seat in appgecet exam

All the candidates eligible to be declared as local candidates.

Candidates who have resided in the State of andhrapradesh  for a total period of 10 years excluding periods of study outside the State or either of whose parents have resided in the State for a total period of 10 years excluding period of employment outside the State.

Candidates who are children of parents who are in the employment of this State or Central government, pscs ,  Local Bodies, Universities and other similar public Institutions, within the State.

Candidates who are spouses of those who are  in the employment of the State or Central Government, Public Sector Corporations, Local Bodies, Universities and Educational Institutions recognized by the Government or University OR other competent authority and similar quasi Government Institutions within the State.
