Yes, I am a mechanical student pursuing last year. I am prepare for GATE 2020. but I wanted to ask you that, actually I have a 3-year gap in academics so, even if I am getting good marks in GATE 2020, will my gap effect to get a good positional job in the industry?

Rehan Alam Student Expert 16th Nov, 2019

Dear Aspirant,

Mos of the recruiters allows a academic gap of 3 years at maximum. So if you have 3 years of academic gap, then you will be okay with most of the companies. However, if you have total gap more than that then it will shrink your opportunities but that does not mean you'll not get a job. It is just some recruiters won't allow you.

Hope this helps. Thank you.

Shudhanshu Gupta Student Expert 14th Nov, 2019
Hello.
Generally all the institute make their pendrive course similar but there is a very simple difference that  people do not go with the consistency so you can refer pendrive course of any of the institute but one thing you should remember that apart from this course you need to solve a lot of questions from other reference books.
Best of luck.
