TS PGECET Counselling 2018 – Osmania University will conduct the counselling of TS PGECET 2018 from July 17 in online mode. Separate counselling will be conducted for candidates applying on the basis of TS PGECET scores and GATE scores. Candidates will be invited to participate in TS PGECET 2018 counselling on the basis of their ranks in the entrance exam. However, during seat allotment, preference will be given to GATE qualified candidates. The seat allotment procedure of TS PGECET 2018 will include payment of processing fee, verification of documents at the Helpline Centres, followed by web option entry in which they will be required to select the preferred TS PGECET colleges and courses offered by them. TS PGECET 2018 Counselling Procedure
The counselling procedure of TS PGECET 2018 involves following steps:
Step 1 – Payment of processing fee: To be able to participate in the TS PGECET 2018 counselling, candidates will have to first register for it and pay the processing fee of Rs 1000 (Rs 500 for SC/ST candidates).
Step 2 – Document Verification: After registration, candidates will have to get the necessary documents verified at the Help Line Centres.

Procedure for TS PGECET Document verification
Candidates will be called for registration of counselling as per their TS PGECET 2018 ranks.
They will be required to pay the processing fee of Rs 1000 (Rs 500 for SC/ST candidates) and get their documents verified.
Candidates will have to be present at the helpline centres as per the notified time and date with all the required documents and fee.
Note: Candidates will have to show their original certificates at the time of verification of certificates and also have to carry photocopies of the certificates to be submitted.
Candidates will also be required to furnish a valid mobile number at the time of document verification, as they were sent One Time Password (OTP) for web option entry on the mobile number.
After certificate verification, the candidates will be given a receipt from the counter. Candidates should not forget to collect this receipt. While collecting the receipt, the candidates had to cross-check all details on it like mobile number, local area, gender, caste category, minority, parental income, date of birth, special category, eligible degree, specialization, etc.
If they find any discrepancy in the receipt, they had to bring it to the notice of Camp Officer/Co-ordinator immediately for rectification, as seat allotment will depend on the accuracy of this data.

Step 3 – Filling of choices
Once the document verification is done, candidates will be required to fill their choice of colleges and courses. These choices have to be filled very carefully.
TS PGECET 2018 Choice Filling Process for Counselling:
Candidates can select their option entry from helpline centre/home/any other place with internet facility.
The candidates will be sent a 6-letter code (One Time Password) on their registered mobile number after exercising option entry and clicking on the save button.
Candidates will be required to click on the Web Options link to exercise the options.
They will be required to enter the Hall Ticket Number, Rank of TS PGECET 2018 and the registered Mobile Number.
Candidates will get option form displayed in front of them with college options on the left side with specialisation.
Candidates will have to use the two types of filters available to minimize the selection list.
Select the preferred college on left window and click to add it to the right side, which signifies as option number one. The rest options will be added in the same manner as per the preference of the candidates. The priority list of selected options will be displayed on the right side window.
Candidates can use the facility of modifying and deleting the options entered.
After the selection of priorities and option entry finalisation, click on Save button and enter the password sent to the candidates through SMS on their registered mobile. Use the virtual key board available on the screen for clicking on Save button and then click on Confirm button.
Selected options will be saved in the Server, while the saved options will be displayed in printed format.
Candidates will have to verify and take printouts of the selected colleges/saved options by clicking on the Print option link.
The registered options in the server will be automatically frozen on the last day as specified and will be used for seat allotment of TS PGECET 2018.
