GATE Application Form Correction 2020 - Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi will be opening GATE 2020 application form correction facility for details such as exam, city, paper, category and gender after November 20, 2019. Currently, the candidates can make the changes related to their name, father's name, college name etc in the submitted application form by log in to their GOAPS account during the GATE application form correction period. Candidates will also be required to pay an additional fee to make corrections in the GATE 2020 application form. Registered candidates whose application has error should make sure that they make the necessary GATE 2020 application form correction within the specified time period. The candidates can also make changes in the marked defect(s) which includes Name, DOB, Details of Parents /Guardian, Correspondence address and Qualifying in application form form for exam of GATE. The candidates are advised to check the details furnished during the application form correction of GATE 2020 are correct. However, the exam authorities will not allow any changes after these corrections. They can follow the steps available below to make any changes or corrections in the GATE 2020 application form.

Go to the GOAPS website portal to make the correction in application form of GATE 2020
Login to the website by entering the Enrollment number/Email ID and password.
Now, the candidates can make required changes in the GATE 2019 application form.
If the candidates want to change the exam centre or subject chosen, they will have to pay fees as prescribed by the exam authorities.
Finally, click on the submit button.
You may take a print out of the same for future use.

The authorities will examine the application form after the submission of GATE 2020 application form by the candidates to verify the authenticity of the provided information. The scrutiny process continues by the exam authorities and in case of any discrepancies in the application form, the zonal authorities contacts the candidate through email or SMS to rectify the details. The candidates can make corrections in the GATE 2020 application form within the specified time. After that, GATE 2020 Application Form correction facility will not be available. The candidates can check their status of application form by login to the GOAPS website.
If any candidates lost or forgot their login credentials into the GOAPS account, they can use the options given below to receive that credentials.
Forget Enrollment ID:
If any of the candidates want to know the Enrollment ID, they have to use their registered email id and valid password.
The enrollment number will be sent to the candidates through the SMS.
If the candidate forgets their password, they can use their enrollment number and email address to receive the password.
They have to click the ‘request OTP’ option to get the OTP via SMS or Email. Now they can reset their password by using the OTP.
Forget Enrollment ID & Password:
Case-1: If the candidate made the application fee, then they have to contact the Zonal office.
Case-2: If fee payment has not paid, the candidates can register again.
Students can make corrections in their GATE application form 2020 from October 15.
Candidates can change name, date of birth, details of parents and college name. Facility to change Gender, Category, PWD Status, Dyslexia and other similar disability status along with exam paper and exam city will be available after November 20, 2019.
Yes! students have to pay certain amount of fees for updating some particulars while other corrections can be made at no cost. Details regarding the fees and which particulars are open for correction without fees will be made available by authority.
No! students can not change their email ID in their GATE application form 2020.
