I am a mtech student who wrote karnataka pgcet exam but after first round allotment I found out from cut off ranks that a MBA student has also got same rank as mine I am waiting for second round will this affect me?
Hello Aspirant,
See in such cases what happens commonly is if the seats are limited then the candidate having higher age is given preference while allotment though the candidates have got the same rank so if this happens in your case as well then this might impact you. Also if the candidate having same rank has got the seat in the institute where you also want, then there is huge probability that you would get the seat in round 2nd because some candidates do not take admission due to some reasons so you have good chances but still wait for the round 2nd results.
Also as of now the dates have not been released by KEA, Bangalore for 2nd round of KPGCET counselling but will release soon, so you can check out the updates from the link given below :-
I hope this information helps you.
