VITMEE Application Form 2020 - Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) has extended the final date to submit the application form of VITMEE 2020. Candidates can now fill the application form till further notice. The authorities had earlier released VITMEE 2020 application form on March 4 in online mode. Eligible candidates seeking admission to any of the M.Tech programme have to submit VITMEE application form 2020 before the deadline. Candidates will have to go through various steps like registration, fee payment, entering the required details, etc. while filling the application form. Candidates have to pay a non-refundable amount of application fee online. VITMEE has been postponed and new dates will be announced soon. Things to keep ready before filling VITMEE Application Form 2020

Candidates must go through the list mentioned below of things to keep ready before starting to fill the application form of VITMEE 2020.

  • A recent colour passport size photograph with white or very light background in the prescribed format.

  • Scanned image of the candidate’s signature. Candidates will have to draw a rectangular box of 6 cm (width) Ã- 2 cm on an A4 white sheet and put their signature within this box using black or blue ink pen.

Steps to Fill VITMEE Application Form 2020

Candidates applying for VITMEE 2020 have to fill following steps to fill the application form:

Step 1 - Registration

The first step is to register by entering the required details like name, email ID, date of birth, gender and mobile number. A password will be generated on the candidate’s email id or mobile number after the successful registration.

Step 2 - Enter the details

The next step is to enter the further required details by logging in using email id and password. Candidates will have to enter their personal, academic, qualifying exam and contact details. They will also have to choose exam centre. Candidates will get a unique application number after filling in all the details. They must keep the application number safely as it will be used for future reference.

Step 3 - Uploading of photograph and signature

Candidates are required to upload the scanned images of their photograph and signature as per the specifications prescribed by the authorities.

Step 4 - Fee Payment

Candidates will have to pay the application fee of Rs 1200 in online mode. The payment can be done through net banking, debit/ credit card or paytm. Candidates must note the transaction number after the successful transaction.

Step 5 - Print out of application

After successful submission of the form, candidates must take a print out of the filled application which might be useful in the future.

No the VIT Masters Entrance Examination (VITMEE) is not going to be conducted on 6th june and 7th june. Due to corona virus or COVID-19 pandemic the exams dates are postponed until the further notice. New dates will be announced soon. see your gate score is ok but you may not get chances in top ranked colleges for m.tech course in vlsi with this score. so I suggest you to also apply for other m.tech entrance exams like bits hd, vitmee, state government colleges exam also.

Hey!

According to the VITMEE Eligibility criteria, candidates must have graduated from any recognized university. They must have graduated with a full- time degree with minimum aggregate of 60%. Also, consistent record in 10th and 12th class. The ones that are appearing for their final year exam can also apply.

Vellore Institute of Technology conducts VITMEE to offer M.Tech programmes to various eligible candidates in its Vellore and Chennai campuses. As part of this scholarship programme, top six candidates with the highest GATE score will get a monthly stipend of Rs. 4000. GATE is not mandatory for admission to M.Tech programmes but if you have a good GATE Score then you can submit the GATE Score to avail the scholarship and Stipend from MHRD.
