Thank you very much. I am very much content with my JEE Main scores. I feel like my efforts have paid off.
Q2. Tell me about yourself and your family.
I live with my family. My mother’s name is Amita Pai, and my father’s name is Sujeet Pai. I am a regular student of Deeksha Vedantu. I secure 98.2% in my Class 10 exam form ICSE board.
Q3. Which JEE Main 2026 session 1 shift did you appear in?
I appeared for the afternoon shift of the JEE Main session 1 exam on January 22.
Q4. How did you find your JEE exam shift?
I found the JEE exam shift to be balanced. The questions were manageable for me since I have been practising the previous years' question papers consistently, which made the questions doable.
Q5. Was it your first JEE Main attempt?
Yes, this was my first JEE Main exam attempt.
Q6. Any specific reason that you appeared for the JEE Main exam?
Yes, there is. I have a keen interest in mathematics and analytical subjects, which motivated me to pursue an engineering degree. That's why I decided to appear for the JEE Main exam.
Q7. Tell us about your JEE preparations. Did you take any coaching classes?
Yes, I took coaching classes at Deeksha Vedantu. I am a regular student there. I began my preparation very early during my higher secondary year. I attended classes from 8 AM to 4 PM and studied for 4–5 hours daily, focusing on coaching material and previous year questions. The coaching guides gave me structured coaching material, and I did regular mock tests, which gave me enough practice and helped me with accuracy.
Q8. Any activity you did to relieve stress during study hours?
Yes, after completing my study hours, I went out to play cricket with my friends.
Q9. Any preparation tips on JEE preparation you want to share with everyone?
Yes, according to me, one must divide their daily routine properly. They should avoid piling their daily task and do them at the last moment. You have to study every day for 4 to 5 hours alongside your daily classes.
Q10. Any book you suggest for Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics?
I mainly practised from my coaching material (Deeksha manual) and Previous Year Questions.
Q11. Which subject should one cover first?
Students can start with the subject they feel most confident in, but regular practice of all three subjects is essential.
Q 12. Are you preparing for Session 2 as well?
Yes, I am preparing for session 2. I am aiming to secure 100 percentile. I want to appear for JEE Advanced 20206 for admission in top IITs.
Q 13. What should be the approach for session 2 to score well?
To score well in the upcoming JEE session 2 exam, make sure that the entire JEE Main syllabus is completed and practised. The last month before the exam should be spent on revision, repetition, and strengthening weak areas.
Q 14. Do you have any goal as to which stream and college you wish to pursue and why?
I aim to pursue engineering in a reputed college like IITs. I want to build a strong technical foundation for my future career.

NTA has released the JEE Main session 1 result and the toppers list of the JEE Main session 1 exam on January 16, 2026. There are around 12 toppers with an NTA score of 100 percentile. The highest number of toppers are from Rajasthan, i.e. 3, and 2 from Andhra Pradesh. Candidates can check the topper’s name, their application numbers, and their State of passing/appearing Class 12.

Parala Maharaja College is govt affiliated. As per rules ZZ category which means outside Odisha cannot apply for seats under the official counselling. I wold advise to go to the college and ask for better guidance. The cutoffs for 2025 are not up o the OJEE site but 2024 also
Decent chances actually. However, you havent given the category as well as home state.
If we look at the general category, you have chances in newer IIITs and NITs as well . but again this differs for branch too.
