He is likely to make it to the JEE Main 2026 AIR 1 or 2. Find a sneak peek of an exclusive interview with Bhavesh regarding his success stories in the JEE Main 2026 session 1 exam. He is the only JEE aspirant from Odisha who has managed to secure a complete 100 percentile and make it to the JEE session 1 toppers list. He believes that taking regular tests helps identify weaknesses and provides an opportunity to improve them. Here is a brief interview session with Bhavesh Patra.

Q1. Congratulations on securing 100 percentile in the JEE Main!
Thank you very much. I am happy to secure 100 percentile in JEE Main, it's like a dream come true.
Q2. Tell us about your family
My father’s name is Biswajit Patra, and he is a CA. And my mother’s name is Jayshree Behera. My parents have been my bigged supporter throughout my JEE Main journey. They have motivated everytime i wad feeling low due to my low marks. May parent and my faculty members had helped me a lot to stay motivated throughout my JEE preparation journey.
Q3. How much did you get in Class 10?
I passed my 10th grade with 97.6 per cent marks.
Q4. Tell us how you manage your study routine daily.
For my daily routine, I first fixed 7 hours for sleeping. After two-three hours for eating and other recreational activities. And the remaining hours, I only study, balancing out between Maths, Physics, and Chemistry.
Q5. Is there any study hack for JEE Main exam?
There are no study hacks; just maintain consistency in studies. Whatever you're working on,n you have to keep working on it regularly. Only then can we expect a good result.
Q6. Tell us how you prepared for the JEE Main exam?
My JEE Main exam journey begin my preparation from early grades. I focused primarily on strengthening the JEE Main important concepts. I attended classes regularly, thoroughly studied the assignments and study materials provided by the Allen faculty. While taking the test, I took it seriously. In Class 11th iI was distributing equal time to PCM. But later I had a bit backlog in Chemistry, so I began focusing more on Chemistry. However, on average, I spend more time on Maths.
Q7. What are your tips for JEE Main preparation?
I believe that taking regular tests helps identify weaknesses and provides an opportunity to improve them. Also, prioritising self-study while managing the time effectively, and strengthening difficult topics by revising them repeatedly.
Q8. Did you take any coaching classes for JEE?
I have been taking coaching from Allen's classroom for the past six years. I have begun my preparation from the early grades and achieved this feat through consistent hard work, discipline, and proper guidance.
Q9. What are your future goals?
I am currently preparing for the JEE Advanced to pursue B.Tech degree from one of India's most prestigious IITs.
Q10. Any advice for the future JEE Main aspirants?
My advice for future JEE Main aspirants is that they should take regular tests, identify weaknesses and improve them.
NTA has released the toppers list of JEE Main session 1 exam on January 16, 2026. The list includes 12 toppers with a full NTA score of 100 percentile. Among the 12 toppers, 3 are from Rajasthan, 2 from Andhra Pradesh, and the rest from other states each. Candidates can check the topper’s name, their application numbers, and their State of passing/appearing Class 12.

NTA has released the JEE Main session 1 result on Jan 16. Candidates can download the JEE session 1 result from the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. The JEE session 1 exam was conducted on January 21, 22, 23, 24, 28, and 29, 2026. A total number of 13,04,653 students participated in the session 1 exam. NTA has also released the JEE toppers list along with the results. There are a total of 12 students who secured an NTA score of 100 percentile.
