UPESEAT Exam 2025: Admit Card (Out), Date, Syllabus, Pattern, Question Paper, Result, Cutoff

The University of Petroleum & Energy Studies released the UPESEAT 2025 eligibility criteria on the official website. Applicants of the exam must check the UPESEAT eligibility criteria before filling out the application form. The eligibility criteria of UPESEAT 2025 comprise age limit, educational qualification and performance in entrance exams. Only those applicants who fulfil the UPESEAT 2025 eligibility criteria can fill out the application form. Age Limit: All the candidates applying for admission to the University will be required to have an age of less than or equivalent to 22 years i.e., they should be born on or after October 1, 2002 to be eligible to apply.

There are two separate admission processes, the non-examination, and Board exam merit. The eligibility criteria of UPESEAT 2025 for the non-examination pathway are the same as the general criteria mentioned above in addition to the score received in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main).

JEE Main Merit Eligibility Criteria - Students having JEE percentile more than 50 are eligible for direct admission.

Board Exam Merit Eligibility Criteria - Applicants need to get a minimum aggregate of 80% in their Class 10 and higher secondary (12th) exams, and a minimum aggregate of 80% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

NOTE: Candidates should appear for centralised counselling through merit rank for the non-exam category (JEE/Board exam merit).

UPES has not yet announced the last date for the UPESEAT 2025 application process online. Candidates can fill out the UPESEAT application form on the official website, upes.ac.in. The authority commenced the UPESEAT 2025 registration on September 3, 2024. Aspirants must check the UPESEAT 2025 eligibility criteria before filling out the UPESEAT 2025 registration. The application process for UPESEAT 2025 comprises registration, filling application form, uploading the documents and paying the application fee. 

The UPES 2025 registration for admission through JEE Main will conclude on May 15. The earlier deadline was February 25, 2025. The application fee for UPESEAT 2025 is Rs 1750 for all candidates. How to fill UPESEAT application form 2025?

Candidates can follow the steps below to fill out the UPESEAT 2025 application form.

Step 1 - Registration
Applicants first have to complete the UPESEAT 2025 registration from the official website. Candidates have to provide details like Name, Date of birth, Gender, Nationality, Email ID, Mobile number, City, State, Course you are applying, and other information in the UPESEAT registration. After filling in all the details, candidates have to submit the registration form.

Step 2: Input the One Time Password (OTP) 
After submitting the details in the registration form, applicants will receive an OTP on their registered mobile number. Candidates have to submit the OTP in the required fields. Once OTP verification is done, applicants will receive a confirmation mail on the registered email ID along with a username and password.

Step 3: Log-in & Confirm the Details 
In the next step, applicants have a login user username and password. After successful UPESEAT 2025 login, applicants have to check all the details and submit the application form.

Step 4 - Payment of Application Fee 
After submitting all the details, applicants will be redirected to the payment gateway page. Applicants have to pay the UPESEAT application fee of Rs 1750/- online mode through Net Banking/Debit/Credit Card.

Step 5 - Entering Academic Details
In the next step, candidates have to enter their academic qualifications in the UPESEAT 2025 application form. Candidates must provide all the valid information and then submit the form. After submission, the UEPSEAT application form will be available for download. Candidates must download the application form for reference.

The exam conducting authority releases the UPESEAT exam pattern 2025 in the official notification. Applicants appearing for the exam must check the exam pattern of UPESEAT 2025 during their preparation. The UPESEAT exam pattern comprises the number of questions, mode of exam, type of questions marking scheme, duration of exam and more. The exam conducting authority issued the UPESEAT admit card on the official website. Registered candidates first have to complete the UPESEAT 2025 slot booking to download the admit card. Applicants have to select a preferred date and time slot during the UPESEAT slot booking. The exam conducting authorities do not release the answer key of UPESEAT. In case authorities release the UPESEAT 2025 answer key then it will be available through the candidate portal. The exam conducting authority declared the UPESEAT 2025 result on the official website, upes.ac.in. Applicants can check UPESEAT 2025 through the candidate login portal using their email ID and password. Applicants who are declared qualified as per the UPESEAT 2025 result will be called to participate in the counselling process. The result of UPESEAT 2025 is available as a scorecard. The scorecard includes the candidate's name, application number, roll number, category, subject-wise marks, rank secured, status of qualifying exam, and more. The UPESEAT 2025 cutoff is the minimum mark required to qualify the UPES engineering aptitude test. Candidates who meet the UPESEAT 2025 cutoff will have to participate in the counselling process for admission to their desired course. UPESEAT cutoff will be determined on various factors such as availability of seats, the number of candidates appearing in the exam, the difficulty level of the exam, and the previous year's cutoff trends.

UPESEAT 2025 Scholarships

The following scholarships will be provided to eligible candidates by the authorities. 

Merit-Based Scholarship - This scholarship will be provided to those candidates who had secured an aggregate of 80% marks in 10th and 12th standard and 80% marks in PCM for B.Tech in CBSE/ICSE/State Examination Board. Only 10% of seats of each B.Tech programme will be given the scholarship and will be based on merit. 50% of tuition fee will be waived off in the first semester. Continuation of Scholarship in the subsequent years will be as per the University policy.

Scholarship for Uttarakhand State Board Toppers - The seats under this category will be within 15% reservation for Uttarakhand resident students. Under this scholarship, 25% tuition fee waiver will be provided for boys and 35% fee waiver will be provided for girls. The scholarship is renewed as per merit scholarship policy of the University. The candidates under this category should have “Sthai Niwas Praman Patra” (Permanent Residence Certificate).
