    Shreyas Mishra JEE Topper 2026

Shreyas Mishra is a JEE Mains 2026 Topper. He has achieved a perfect score in JEE Mains 2026. Here’s what he told the Hindustan Times, a prestigious news media, when asked about himself and his preparation strategy.

“While I began preparation early on, it was only two years ago that I shifted to a PG in Punjabi Bagh, away from my parents, who stay in Greater Noida, to start a full-fledged aspirant’s journey. My fascination with maths pulled me towards JEE. While I aimed to get into the country’s top institutes, topping the exam was completely unexpected.”

Shreyas had enrolled in a two-year VMC program after class 10th. His daily schedule included 8 to 10 hours of effective studying, with 4 to 5 hours of coaching classes and the remaining time dedicated to practice and self-study. Along with JEE Mains, Shreyas also prepared for the class 12th Board exams. He used to balance both JEE and the board exam coursework by keeping in touch with both simultaneously.

His early morning routine was to revise the topics read the day before and cover at least two subjects per day. Moreover, towards the end of preparation, Shreyas sole focus was to practice with as many mock tests as possible and improve his understanding through them.

His standard approach for Physics was to refer to the material provided in the classroom. Follow the illustrations and solve the complete set of workbooks provided by the coaching centre. Shreyas says, NCERT played a crucial role in all three subjects. His focus was to read the NCERT thoroughly, especially for Chemistry. Problem-solving is absolutely necessary for Maths.

When he felt demotivated, he used to talk to his faculty and family for guidance. His ability to keep his goal in sight kept him going during difficult times. His advice to future JEE aspirants is to never break consistency. Keep practising with mock tests and analyse their test performance. Last but not least, they should always follow their teachers’ suggestions as they are more experienced.
