Safe Score for GATE DA 2026: Candidates can check the GATE DA 2026 safe score on this page. The GATE 2026 DA result will be declared on March 19, 2026. To secure admission to IITs general category candidates are usually advised to aim for a safe score of 800+ marks in the DA paper. The qualifying marks for GATE DA of general category is around 29 marks, based on the previous year’s trends. A safe score based on GATE DA depends on many factors such as the difficulty of paper, number of the candidates to be taken in the exam and overall performance of the students. The exam results will be declared along with the GATE 2026 cutoff.
The Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IIT Guwahati) will declare the GATE 2026 result on March 19. Candidates will have to enter enrollment ID and password.

Yes, you can get a seat in VLSI. However, different colleges have different cut-off scores. Check the respective college GATE cut off before applying.
