NIT Trichy GATE Cutoff 2026: CCMT will upload the GATE 2026 cutoff for NIT Trichy on the official website, ccmt.admissions.nic.in. Candidates will be able to check the NIT Trichy GATE cutoff 2026 in this article soon after its official release. Admission to MTech programmes at NIT Trichy will be mainly based on the GATE exam scores and choice filling during the CCMT counselling. Aspirants who satisfy the NIT Trichy MTech cutoff 2026 will be eligible for admission to the institute. The GATE cutoff will indicate the opening and closing ranks for admission to various M.Tech programmes. The GATE 2026 exam will be conducted on February 7, 8, 14 and 15, 2026.

The admission committee of NIT Tiruchirapalli will decide the NIT Trichy MTech cutoff by considering certain factors. The cutoff of NIT Trichy 2026 for GATE is separately formulated for various courses offered by the institute and also for different categories under which the institute offers admission. The prime factors which are considered for NIT Trichy MTech cutoff are as follows

Students who have secured a valid GATE rank become eligible for admission to NIT Trichy subject to meeting the other eligibility conditions. Students have to fill out the online application form for NIT Tiruchirapalli 2026. After filling out the college application form, students also have to register for CCMT 2026 counselling and fill in choices of institutes. The allotment of seats is based on the NIT Trichy GATE cutoff in the order of merit of scores secured by the candidates.

Yes. You can. GATE eligibility specifies that students in their 3rd year and above can appear for the exam. Since the results are valid for 3 years, you can use the same for your admissions.

In GATE 2026 Computer Science, a score of around 32 marks in the SC category may roughly correspond to a rank between 3,000 and 6,000, based on trends from recent years. However, the exact rank depends on the paper’s difficulty, number of candidates, and normalization, so it can vary
