JEE Advanced 2026: IIT Roorkee has announced that admission to BTech courses in IISc Bangalore will now be done through the JoSAA counselling. Hence, candiadtes can apply for admission to IISc Bangalore using their JEE Advanced 2026 scores through the JoSAA portal. The JEE Advanced 2026 application form will start on April 23, 2026. Only those candidates who are among the list of top 2,50,000 in the JEE Main exam qualifiers will be able to go for the JEE Advanced 2026 registration. The last date to submit the JEE Advanced 2026 registration is May 2, 2026. Registered candidates can download the JEE Advanced 2026 admit card from May 11 to 17, 2026. The authority will conduct the JEE Advanced 2026 exam on May 17, 2026.

What is JEE Advanced exam?
Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced is a national-level exam conducted for admission to the B.E/B.Tech, Integrated Master’s, and Dual Degree programs (entry at the 10+2 level) in all participating institutions. JEE Advanced is jointly organised by the seven zonal coordinating IITs, namely IIT Kharagpur, IIT Kanpur, IIT Madras, IIT Delhi, IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati, and IIT Roorkee. Candidates need to qualify JEE Main to appear for the IIT JEE Advanced exam. The authority conducts the JEE Advanced exam for two papers - Paper I & Paper II. Candidates who qualify the exam will be eligible for admission to the top IITs in India. Admission to IITs is through counselling conducted by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA).

JEE Advanced AAT
JEE Advanced Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) 2026 will be conducted offline for B.Arch admissions into the participating institutes. Registrations will be open for eligible candidates, and they have to select their preferred centre for the exam. Only those candidates who qualified for the JEE Advanced 2026 exam are eligible. JEE Advanced AAT 2026 assesses the candidate’s perception, drawing, awareness about Architecture, and more. Candidates who manage to secure marks within the cutoff have to participate in the counselling process conducted by JoSAA. Seats are allotted according to the candidates' examination performance.
