JEE Advanced AAT 2019 - The authorities will be conducting JEE Advanced AAT 2019 on June 7 in offline mode. JEE Advanced AAT 2019 is the entrance examination for B.Arch admissions into participating IITs i.e., IIT Roorkee and IIT Kharagpur. Registrations for JEE Advanced AAT 2019 will be open on June 14-15. Only those candidates who qualify JEE Advanced will be eligible to apply for Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT). Since the registration process will be open only for one day, the candidates are advised to apply quickly for JEE Advanced AAT 2019. During registration, the preferred exam centre also has to be selected. Allotment of seats will be done through JoSAA on the basis of the All India Rank and performance of the candidates in JEE Advanced AAT 2019. JEE Advanced AAT Eligibility Criteria 2019

To participate in the examination, the candidates will have to meet the eligibility criteria of JEE Advanced AAT 2019. Inability to meet the eligibility criteria will lead to the disqualification of the candidates. The most important JEE Advanced AAT 2019 eligibility criteria is that the candidates should have attempted and qualified JEE Advanced 2019 examination. The cutoff marks also have to be met to be allotted in to the B.Arch seats offered by IIT Roorkee and IIT Kharagpur

JEE Advanced AAT Registration 2019

Candidates will be able to register for JEE Advanced AAT 2019 tentatively from June 14-15. Since only one day will be allotted to the candidates for registration, it is advised to the candidates that the application form should be filled and submitted quickly. It should be noted that only those candidates who qualify JEE Advanced will be able to apply for the B.Arch admission process. 

How to fill JEE Advanced AAT 2019 Application Form

To register for the examination, the candidates’ can follow the given steps:

  • Candidates will have to use their JEE Advanced 2019 registration number, date of birth, mobile number and email address to log in to fill the application form.

  • The candidates will have to select their preferred option among “Yes” or “No” to the question “Are you Interested in AAT 2019?”

  • From the listed exam centres, the candidates will have to select their preference. 

  • Required details about the candidate has to be submitted

  • Finally, after checking all of the provided details, the candidates will have to submit the application form. 

JEE Advanced AAT 2019 Exam Centres 

Candidates will have to select their preferred exam centre of JEE Advanced AAT 2019 while filling the application form. The examination will be conducted in the following seven zonal coordinating Indian Institute of Technology (IIT):

  • IIT Roorkee Zone

  • IIT Madras Zone

  • IIT Kharagpur Zone

  • IIT Kanpur Zone

  • IIT Guwahati Zone

  • IIT Delhi Zone

How to Prepare for JEE Advanced AAT 2019

JEE Advanced AAT 2019 will be conducted in offline mode i.e., the exam will be pen and paper based. The exam pattern of JEE Advanced AAT 2019 will consist of details such as mode of exam, duration, type of questions asked and more.

JEE Advanced AAT Syllabus 2019

Candidates will be able to find mostly topics related to architecture in the syllabus of JEE Advanced AAT 2019. To know which topics and units have to be studied by the candidates for the entrance examination, the candidates can check the table given below:

Freehand Drawing

Freehand drawing consists of simple drawing depicting the total object in its right form and proportion, surface texture, relative location and details of its component parts in appropriate scale. Common domestic or day-to-day life usable objects like furniture, equipment, etc., from memory.


Geometrical Drawing

Exercises in geometrical drawing containing lines, triangles, angles, quadrilaterals, circles, polygons, etc. Study of plan (top view), elevation (front or side views) of simple solid objects like cones, prisms, cylinders, splayed surface holders, cubes, etc.


Three-Dimensional Perception

Appreciation and understanding of 3-dimensional forms with building elements, colour, volume and orientation. Visualization through structuring objects in memory.


Imagination and Aesthetic Sensitivity

Composition exercise with given elements. Context mapping. Creativity check through innovative uncommon test with familiar objects. Sense of colour grouping or application,


Architectural Awareness

General interest and awareness of famous architectural creations – both national and international, places and personalities (architects, designers, etc.) in the related domain.

JEE Advanced AAT Admit Card 2019

The authorities will not be publishing a separate admit card of JEE Advanced AAT 2019. The registered candidates will have to present their JEE Advanced 2019 admit card at the examination centre.The candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination hall without the admit card. Therefore, the candidates are advised to keep the JEE Advanced admit card safely if they wish to participate in AAT for B.Arch admissions.

JEE Advanced AAT Result 2019

Candidates will be able to check the result of JEE Advanced AAT 2019 on June 21 in online mode. To check the result, the candidates will have to submit the required credentials. The scores secured by the candidates in the examination will be present in the JEE Advanced AAT 2019 result. The qualification status of the candidate will also be present. Those candidates who meet the cutoff will be able to apply for the counselling process. 

JEE Advanced AAT Cutoff 2019

Minimum marks which the candidates have to secure to be eligible for admission will be present in the cutoff of JEE Advanced AAT 2019. This acts as a screening process and the candidates who meet the cutoff will have higher chances of admission. A number of factors related to the entrance examination will be considered while preparing the JEE Advanced AAT 2019 cutoff.  

JEE Advanced AAT Seat Allotment 2019  

Allotment into the B.Arch seats offered by IIT Roorkee and IIT Kharagpur will be done through JoSAA 2019 (Joint Seat Allocation Authority). Qualified candidates will be allotted into the available seats based on their merit and performance in JEE Advanced AAT 2019. Candidates will be able to check their allotment status in online mode and will have to undergo document verification and report to their allotted institute for confirmation of admission.
