JEE Advanced AAT 2018: The result of JEE Advanced AAT 2018 has been announced for candidates who appeared in the entrance exam on June 17, 2018. Candidates can now access the result of JEE Advanced AAT 2018. To check the scores and ranks, the candidates will have to login using their registration number, date of birth, mobile number and email address. The registration process of AAT 2018 was open till June 15 (11:59 pm). JEE Advanced AAT 2018 entrance exam for such candidates was conducted on June 14 at the allotted exam centres. Earlier, the final date to submit the filled application form was June 11, 2018 (5 PM). JEE Advanced AAT is conducted annually for admissions into the B.Arch courses offered by IIT Roorkee and IIT Kharagpur. For admissions through JEE Advanced AAT 2018, all candidates are required to qualify JEE Advanced examination. Ineligible candidates were not able to apply for the entrance examination of JEE Advanced AAT 2018. During registration, the candidates were required to select their preferred exam centres among the seven IIT zones. JEE Advanced AAT 2018 examination was 3 hours long and consisted of questions related to the candidate’s drawing, perception and awareness regarding Architecture. JEE Advanced AAT Result 2018

The result of JEE Advanced AAT 2018 has been declared for candidates who appeared in the entrance exam on June 17. Earlier, the result was announced on June 18 by IIT Kanpur for candidates who appeared in the exam on June 14. The registered candidates will now be able to check their JEE Advanced AAT 2018 result in online mode. The examination paper was carefully examined by the experts. The authorities of JEE Advanced AAT 2018 have not released any category wise cutoff list. The scores secured by the candidates in the examination are available in the result. Those candidates who secured equal to or above the cutoff marks of JEE Advanced AAT 2018 are considered as qualified for the counselling and seat allotment process.       

 

JEE Advanced AAT Cutoff 2018

 

The cutoff of JEE Advanced AAT 2018 will be decided by the Joint Implementation Committee of JEE Advanced. The candidates will be able to check out the minimum marks that should be secured by the candidates in the exam for admissions through JEE Advanced AAT 2018 cutoff. Only those candidates who meet the cutoff criteria will have a high probability of being allotted into one of the participating institutes.

 

JEE Advanced AAT Registration 2018

 

The registration process of JEE Advanced AAT 2018 has ended for candidates qualified according to the extended merit list. The candidates were given just one day for registration (till June 15, 11:59 PM), therefore, they were advised to fill and submit the application form as soon as possible. Once the last date was missed, the candidates were not able to register for the examination. Only those candidates who have qualified JEE Advanced 2018 examination were able to register.

 

Steps to Register for JEE Advanced AAT 2018

 

The following steps could be followed by the candidates to register for JEE Advanced AAT 2018.

  • The candidates will have to log in using their JEE Advanced 2018 registration number, date of birth, mobile number and email address.

  • Selection of “Yes” or “No” has to be done by the candidates for the question “Are you Interested in AAT 2018”.

  • The candidates will have to select the exam centres from the scroll down list and submit it.

  • All of the required information has to be submitted during registration.

  • Submission has to be done for the candidates to be registered for JEE Advanced AAT 2018.

JEE Advanced AAT Participating Institutes 2018

Based on the performance of the candidates in JEE Advanced AAT 2018 examination, the candidates will be offered B.Arch admission. There are only two participating institutes under JEE Advanced AAT 2018:

JEE Advanced AAT Eligibility Criteria 2018

The candidates are required to meet the eligibility criteria of JEE Advanced AAT 2018 for admissions into the Architecture course offered by IIT Roorkee and IIT Kharagpur. If the JEE Advanced AAT eligibility criteria 2018 was not met then he/she was disqualified from attempting the entrance examination. All of the candidates had to qualify JEE Advanced 2018 examination to be eligible for AAT examination. For admissions into the B.Arch seats offered by IIT Kharagpur and IIT Roorkee, the candidates have to meet the cutoff marks and qualify JEE Advanced AAT 2018 examination.

Freehand Drawing

Freehand drawing consists of simple drawing depicting the total object in its right form and proportion, surface texture, relative location and details of its component parts in appropriate scale. Common domestic or day-to-day life usable objects like furniture, equipment, etc., from memory.

Geometrical Drawing

Exercises in geometrical drawing containing lines, triangles, angles, quadrilaterals, circles, polygons, etc. Study of plan (top view), elevation (front or side views) of simple solid objects like cones, prisms, cylinders, splayed surface holders, cubes, etc.

Three-Dimensional Perception

Appreciation and understanding of 3-dimensional forms with building elements, colour, volume and orientation. Visualization through structuring objects in memory.

Imagination and Aesthetic Sensitivity

Composition exercise with given elements. Context mapping. Creativity check through innovative uncommon test with familiar objects. Sense of colour grouping or application.

Architectural Awareness

General interest and awareness of famous architectural creations – both national and international, places and personalities (architects, designers, etc.) in the related domain.

JEE Advanced AAT Admit Card 2018

The candidates have to remember that no separate admit card of JEE Advanced AAT 2018 was published by the concerned authorities. While reporting to the exam centres, the candidates had to use their JEE Advanced 2018 admit card. Therefore, all of those candidates who wish to be offered admissions into B.Arch courses of IIT Roorkee and IIT Kharagpur had to keep the admit card of JEE Advanced 2018 safe till the entire admission process is completed. Without the admit card, the candidates were not able to attempt the entrance examination.

 

JEE Advanced AAT Seat Allotment 2018

JoSAA will be responsible for the seat allotment process of JEE Advanced AAT 2018. The available seats will be allotted based on the category wise All India Rank secured in the qualifying examination. The registration process for JEE Advanced AAT 2018 will commence from June 10, 2018. The concerned authorities will be declaring the result on June 18 and seat allotment will be through JoSAA. The allotment process will be done based on the candidates’ performance in the entrance examination.
