M refers to RAW marks
Mq means the qualifying marks of the GATE paper
Mt is Average raw marks of the top GATE candidates.
Sq = Qualifying marks score
St = Top marks score
The GATE scores and marks are two different terms. The GATE 2026 marks is out of 100, while GATE score 2026 is out of 1000. The GATE score is obtained by using the GATE normalisation formulae.
