    UOHyd M.Tech Admission 2026 - The University of Hyderabad will announce the Hyderabad M.Tech merit list on July 3, 2026. The authority will activate the Hyderabad M.Tech merit list on the official website, acad.uohyd.ac.in. The Hyderabad M.Tech application challenge window has been closed on June 17, 2026. Candidates shortlisted for admission will be required to attend physical counselling and document verification at the university from July 13 to July 16, 2026, depending on their programme. Earlier, the University of Hyderabad concluded the MTech 2026 registration process on June 15, 2026, for candidates seeking admission through valid CUET PG 2026 scores. Classes for the new academic session are scheduled to commence on July 17, 2026.

    Candidates applying for UOHyd M.Tech 2026 admissions are advised to go through the eligibility requirements to make sure that they are eligible.     Computer Science

    • Candidates need to have a minimum 60% marks in their bachelors' degree in B.E./ B.Tech/ MCA/ M.Sc. In (Computer Science/ Information Sciences/ Electronics)

    • GATE scores of candidates in Computer Science and Information Technology in the order of merit will be considered. No entrance test or interview will be conducted.

    • Candidates need to have secured a minimum 60% marks in Physics (with Electronics as one of the subjects)/ B.E./ B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering or Instrumentation Engineering. OR

    • Minimum 55% marks in Master's degree in Electronics Science.

    • GATE scores in the order of merit in the one of the following subjects will be considered for admission:

    • Electronics and Communication Engineering

    • Instrumentation Engineering

    • Physics

    • No entrance exam or interview will be conducted.

    Bioinformatics

    • Candidates need to have minimum 55% in aggregate in their Masters in any of the following :

    • Biological

    • Agricultural Sciences

    • Physical/ Chemical Sciences OR

    • Minimum 60% marks in their B.Tech or B.Pharmacy degree.

    • GATE qualified candidates will be considered on their scores in the entrance exam. GATE will be considered for the following subjects:

    • Biotechnology - BT,

    • Chemistry - CY,

    • Mathematics - MA,

    • Physics - PH,

    • Agricultural Engineering - AG, Electronics & Communication

    • Computer Science and Information Technology - CS,

    Materials Engineering

    • Candidates need to have B.E./ B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering; Metallurgical and Materials Engineering; Chemical Engineering, Production and Industrial Engineering, Ceramic Engineering OR

    • Master of Science degree in Physics, Chemistry, or Materials Science/ Biotechnology/ Nano Science and Technology.

    • Candidates will be considered on their GATE scores in the order of merit in any of the following subjects :

    • Mechanical Engineering;

    • Metallurgical Engineering;

    • Physics;

    • Engineering Sciences,

    UOHyd M.Tech Application Form 2026

    The authorities released the online application form for UOHyd M.Tech 2026 on the official website. Candidates are required to submit the UOHyd M.Tech application form before the last date.

    Steps to fill UOHyd M.Tech Application Form 2026

    The following steps can be referred to fill the UOHyd M.Tech 2026 application form-

    Step 1: UOHyd M.Tech Registration - The first step is to register by entering the required details by visiting the official website.

    Step 2: Filling of the UOHyd M.Tech application form - After registration, candidates will have to enter all the required details like name, date of birth, state of domicile, nationality, category and other details. It must be noted that the information entered must be valid in nature.

    Step 3: Upload Documents - The next step is to upload the scanned images of the required documents in the format specified by the authorities.

    Step 4: GATE Details - Candidates will have to enter details related to GATE 2026 including hall ticket number, subject, score, normalized score and more had to be submitted by the candidates.

    Step 5: Enter Academic Details - Candidates are required to enter academic details from 10th standard to graduation including Scored Marks, Subjects, Board/University/Month and Year of Completion.

    Step 6: Fee Payment - Candidates will have to pay the required amount of fee after entering all the required details. Fee can be paid only in online mode through Debit Card/ Credit Card.

    UOHyd M.Tech Counselling 2026

    Shortlisted candidates have to participate in the counselling of UOHyd M.Tech 2026. The candidates are also required to register through CCMT 2026 and fill the online counselling application form. All admissions will be done on the basis of GATE 2026 scores.

    • Based on the merit prepared on the basis of GATE scores, candidates will be called for the interview. However, it is mandatory for the candidates to get registered for CCMT 2026.

    • Candidates will have to pay the counselling fee in online mode.

    • Candidates will also have to get their documents verified. While the original documents have to be produced, the attested copies will have to be submitted to the authorities.

    • Seat allotment will be done on the basis of merit, category and availability of seats.

    • No request for course change will be considered during counselling. The courses have to be selected during application filling.

    • The admit card has to be collected and submitted at their respective centre, department or college after the admission formalities are completed.
