GATE Response Sheet - IIT Madras has released the answer keys and question papers for GATE 2019. It had earlier released the candidate's response sheets for GATE 2019 for all the papers. GATE was held on February 2, 3, 9 and 10, 2019. Candidates can download the GATE response sheet and cross-check their responses with the official answer key. The result of GATE 2019 has been announced on March 15. To download the GATE response sheet 2019 candidates will have to login using their enrollment id/ email address and password. Important: Candidates who wished to correct their name could send an email to [email protected] till February 17 with subject: Name correction, enrollment ID. Details such as enrollment ID, registration number, present name, correct name and soft copy of name proof had to be provided in the email.

IIT Madras conducted GATE 2019 for 24 papers on February 2, 3, 9 and 10 for 24 papers including Statistics which was introduced this year.
Candidates are required to visit the GOAPs portal and login to check and download their response sheet for the paper they appeared for. Given below is the step by step procedure to download the GATE response sheet:

Visit the GOAPS(GATE Online Application Processing System) website.
Login using the combination of enrollment id and password or email address and password. Evaluate this arithmetic expression and place the value in the box given there.

The GATE response sheet consists of the responses given by the candidates while attempting the paper. Candidates can download their responses and match them with the correct answers mentioned on the answer key to predict their expected scores. The following details will be mentioned on the GATE response sheet:

Candidates can predict their GATE scores by using the response sheet with the help of the marking scheme.
According to the exam pattern, two types of questions appear in the exam- Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions and Multiple choice questions (MCQs). Some questions carry 1 mark and some 2 marks. The total marks will be calculated as per the formula is given below:
Total marks obtained for correct attempts – Negative marks for incorrect attempts
MCQ Marks: Total marks (1 marks) + Total marks (2 marks)
Total marks (1 marks) = 1 x number of correct answers – 1/3 x number of wrong answers
Total marks (2 marks) = 2 x number of correct answers – 2/3 x number of wrong answers
NAT Marks: Total marks (1 marks) + Total marks (2 marks)
The authorities have released the official answer key of GATE 2019 on February 19. IIT Madras has also released the question papers for all papers. Candidates can use their response sheets and corelate them with the answer keys to know how many answers they got right and how many went wrong. Candidates can calculate probable scores by comparing their responses with the correct answers mentioned on GATE 2019 answer key.
The authorities have released the result of GATE 2019 on March 15. The result has been declared in online mode. Candidates will have to login using their credentials to check the result. GATE 2019 score card will be available for only those candidates who have qualified in the exam.
The score card of GATE is valid for a period of three years from the day of announcement of result.

So analyse the topics and syllabus that you have learnt for the past 3 years and practise as much Mathematics as you can. Try as many mock tests as possible and get a hang of the exam pattern. The tentative dates to make corrections to your Category would be from the last week of October to 1st week of November. This is tentative and so please keep an eye on the official website. Dear Pramod, IIT Delhi has closed registrations for GATE 2020 as on October 5th, 2019 along with late fees. Now the correction window has been opened. At this juncture, registering for GATE 2020 is not a possibility. You may have to wait until the next year if you plan on appearing for GATE. For GATE 2020, you have been late.
