The eligibility criteria of PDPU M.Tech 2019 are a set of defined parameters which candidates need to fulfil to be considered for admission. All the candidates applying will have to meet the parameters of PDPU M.Tech 2019 eligibility criteria.
Candidates will have to satisfy the minimum CPI/ CGPA percentage. This minimum percentage will be based on the aggregate of marks as secured by candidates in all of their semesters.
They should have scored minimum aggregate of 60% or 6.5 CPI/ CGPA out of 10 point scale in their qualifying degree.
For those candidates who will be expecting their results of the qualifying examination by August 31, 2019 will also be eligible to apply for PDPU M.Tech Admission 2019.
50% of the total seats will be allotted to GATE 2019 qualified candidates who have a valid score.

The authorities have closed the application form of PDPU M.Tech 2019 on June 16. Candidates were required to fill PDPU M.Tech 2019 application form with all of their valid details and submit it online in order to be considered for admission.
The steps given below had to be followed by candidates to fill the application form of PDPU M.Tech 2019:
Filling of Online Application Form – Candidates had to fill their personal (name, gender, date of birth, nationality, branch for which candidate is seeking admission and more) and contact information (address, mobile number, email id and more) in the application form.
Uploading of Scanned Images – After filling all the details, candidates were required to upload the scanned images of their photograph and signature. The images should not be more than 200 KB in size and the file format should have been in pdf/ gif / jpeg/ jpg/ bmp/ png.
Application Fee Payment – As soon as the images were uploaded, candidates had to pay the application fee of Rs. 1500 which were non-refundable. The payment should have been done through online mode i.e., net banking/ credit card/ debit card.
Submission of PDPU M.Tech Application Form 2019 – Upon successful payment, candidates had to submit their filled application form. The moment application form was submitted, candidates received an email having their username and password. The login credentials have to be saved for future uses.
The merit list of PDPU M.Tech 2019 was published for all the registered candidates. The authorities prepared and released PDPU M.Tech 2019 merit list for GATE and non-GATE candidates separately. PDPU M.Tech 2019 merit list contained the names of the selected candidates along with their application numbers.
In case, two or more candidates have same GATE scores, their names in the merit list was decided on the basis of the points given below:

The counselling session of PDPU M.Tech Admission 2019 is conducted in offline mode in two phases. Phase I Counselling will be organised for GATE qualified candidates whereas Phase II counselling will be conducted for both GATE and Non-GATE qualified candidates. The selected candidates will have to physically present at the counselling venue. The allotment of seats will be done on the basis of candidates’ merit and eligibility. After the seat will be allotted, the candidates will have to get their documents verified, submit the undertaking and pay the requisite semester fee.
GATE and non-GATE candidates who will not get seats in the first phase, a merit list will be released for them in second phase.
For Phase II, the merit list will be prepared on the following basis:
GATE Qualified candidates – 30% weightage of GATE score and 70% weightage of personal interview
Non-GATE candidates – Only 70% weightage of personal interview will be considered during the preparation of merit list.
The authorities will conduct a personal interview after the final merit list will be released. The selection of candidates will be done on the basis of their merit. To complete the admission procedure, candidates will have to submit their documents and pay the semester fees within the stipulated time period.

The candidates will be able to pay the semester fees through online or offline mode. The payment could be done through online mode at any branch of Oriental Bank of Commerce by NEFT/ RTGS. For offline payment, a Demand Draft (DD) in favour of “ PANDIT DEENDAYAL PETROLEUM UNIVERSITY” payable at Ahmedabad will have to be drawn.
