The eligibility criteria for PDEU M.Tech 2025 will comprise specific requirements and conditions that must be met by candidates. If a candidate fails to meet the minimum PDEU M.Tech eligibility criteria 2025, they will not be deemed eligible for final admission.
1. Candidates must have completed their B.E. / B.Tech. degree latest by 31/08/2025.
2. They must have secured a minimum of 50% or CPI/CGPA of 5.5 out of 10 points in their degree.
3. The degree should be recognized by UGC/AICTE.
4. Students in their final year (8th Semester) can also apply for the program.
5. Additionally, 50% of the seats are reserved for candidates who have a valid and qualified GATE score.

The authorities have started the PDEU M.Tech 2025 application process for both round 1 and round 2 online. Candidates can submit their PDEU M.Tech application form before the last date of application i.e June 2, 2025. Before filling out the application form, candidates are advised to check the detailed eligibility criteria.

Step 1 - Registration: Candidates must first register for PDEU M.Tech admission 2025 by following the procedure given below:
- Go to the official website of PDEU M.Tech admission 2025.
- Click on the registration link.
- Provide the necessary details such as name, email address, mobile number, password of choice, state, institute applying for, and preferred course.
- Click on the “Register” button.
- After clicking on the “Register” button, a verification email will be sent to the candidate's registered email address. Candidates must complete the verification process.
Step 2 - Filling of PDEU M.Tech Application Form: Candidates must fill in all the required details of the application form, including personal details such as name, gender, date of birth, nationality, and preferred branch, as well as communication details such as mobile number, address, email ID, and more.
Step 3 - Uploading of Scanned Images: After filling out the application form, candidates must upload scanned images of their photograph and signature according to the specifications mentioned by the authorities.
Step 4 - Payment of Fee: Candidates must pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs. 500. Payment must be made through online mode using net banking, credit card or debit card.
Step 5 - Submission of Application Form: Finally, candidates must submit the filled PDEU M.Tech admission 2025 application form. The username and password will be sent to the registered email address of the candidates, and they must keep these credentials safely for future reference.
The PDEU M.Tech 2025 merit list will be made available online. The names of the candidates who qualified for the counselling session will be posted on the list. The merit list will consist of separate category for GATE and non-GATE candidates. It will contain the application numbers and names of the selected candidates.
Shortlisted candidates for the PDEU M.Tech 2025 program will have to participate in the counseling process for placement in the available M.Tech courses. The counseling process will be conducted in two phases, offline. Therefore, candidates will have to be physically present at the venue. The authorities will select candidates based on their merit, preferences, category, and seat availability. To confirm the allotted seats, candidates need to verify their documents, submit the undertaking and pay the required fee.

This is likely a temporary portal or validation issue, not something you did wrong. When candidates try to change category from GEN to OBC-NCL during the GATE correction window, the system checks required fields and sometimes a supporting certificate or fee is needed. If any required data or document is missing, or the server is busy, the portal can show Something went wrong, please try again. Explain to them that first they should log into the GATE portal, open the Correction tab and confirm which fields are editable and whether a payment or document upload is required for category change. Tell them to clear browser cache or try a different browser/device and retry. If the error persists, advise contacting GATE support or the zonal office with a screenshot and timing of the error so officials can check server logs.

The GATE 2026 Agricultural Engineering (AG) paper will have a total of 100 marks. Out of this, 15 marks are for General Aptitude and 85 marks are for core Agricultural Engineering subjects.
The marks are generally distributed among major topics like Engineering Mathematics (12–13 marks), Farm Machinery (10–11), Farm Power (14–15), Soil & Water Conservation (12–13), Irrigation & Drainage (10–12), Agricultural Process Engineering (10–12), and Dairy & Food Engineering (9–10 marks).
The official qualifying marks for GATE 2026 are not yet released. However, based on previous years, the cutoff for the Agricultural Engineering paper is expected to be around 25 marks for General, 22.5 for OBC/EWS, and 16.6 for SC/ST/PwD candidates.
