IIT Madras M.Tech Admission 2026 - Indian Institute of Technology Madras has commenced the COAP 2026 Round 1 counselling window from May 11 to May 13, 2026. Candidates must register on the COAP portal using their COAP number. They can select "Accept and Freeze, "Wait", or "Reject" for the offer. The COAP 2026 registration process started on March 26, 2026. The institute closed the IIT Madras M.Tech 2026 application process on April 28, 2026. The IIT Madras M.Tech 2026 application link was activated on the official website, mtechad.iitm.ac.in. Candidates qualified in GATE 2024 / GATE 2025 / GATE 2026 were eligible to apply. B.Tech students from IITs with a CGPA of 8.0 and above were also eligible for registration. IIT Madras conducts its M.Tech admission process online based on the GATE exam score.
