COMEDK UGET Counselling 2025

After declaration of result, the authorities will start the COMEDK 2025 counselling process. The counselling registration starts in June. There are different steps of counselling including registration, choice filling, seat allotment, document verification and more. After each round of counselling, authorities will release the opening and closing ranks institute-wise.

COMEDK UGET Cutoff 2025

COMEDK UGET Cutoff 2025 will be released after the result declaration, The COMEDK UGET cutoffs are determined based on the ranks obtained by candidates in the examination. The cutoffs vary by course and college, with higher-ranked candidates having better chances of securing admissions in top colleges and courses. For example, for Computer Science Engineering, the cutoff for top colleges is between 3,000 to 5,000, while mid-tier colleges have a cutoff of 7,000 to 10,000.

If i get a seat in round 3 of comedk counselling (considering I'd opted accept & upgrade in the previous rounds and I'm in General Merit), will i be able to cancel the seat alotted and exit from counselling?

Sorry, but you can't do that. If you opted for "accept & upgrade" in the previous round, it means you are obligated to join the allotted college. If you are allotted in round 3, you have to get admission to this college. It's mandatory for you to get admission to this college.

If you accept the seat in Round 1 and choose the "Accept and Upgrade" option, you're eligible for upgradation in Round 2. If you again choose "Accept and Upgrade" in Round 2, you will be eligible for Round 3 upgradation.

However, if you don’t get a better option in Round 3, then you’ll have to join the seat allotted in the last round where you accepted.

You cannot go back to previous rounds or upgrade again after Round 3.

So, yes — joining the last accepted seat becomes compulsory if no upgrade is received further.

If you accepted your Round 1 GM seat with “Accept & Upgrade,” you can go for Round 2 or 3. But if you don’t get a better seat in Round 3, you must join the one allotted then. No further upgrades or withdrawals are allowed after Round 3, as per COMEDK rules.

Yes, if you chose the “Reject and Upgrade” option in Round 1 and are allotted a seat in Round 2, you can reject that seat and apply for withdrawal.

As a GM student, you are eligible for a partial refund after deduction of processing fee. However, full refund is not given after Round 2 if you are allotted a seat and do not accept it.

Make sure to apply for withdrawal within the given timeline on the COMEDK portal to get your refund.
