CG PET Eligibility Criteria 2020 - Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CPEB) will release CG PET 2020 eligibility criteria along with the official notification. Candidates who wish to get allotted into the participating institutes will have to meet the eligibility criteria of CG PET 2020 as specified by the authorities. Candidates will be able to check the eligibility criteria of CG PET 2020 in online mode. CG PET 2020 eligibility criteria will outline the conditions and requirements that the candidates need to meet for admissions into the participating institutes. Along with meeting the criteria, the candidates are also required to qualify CG PET 2020 for allotment into the offered B.Tech seats.
Know your admission chances
The candidates should not be more than 30 years of age as on July 1, 2020.
Should meet the domicile requirements. The candidates will have to produce residential proof according to the guidelines set up by the Government.
During counselling and admission process, the candidates will be asked to produce their domicile certificate as proof of residency.
Candidates should have passed 10+2 (or equivalent) qualifying examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following optional subjects - Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Technical vocational courses.
For B.Tech Biotechnology, the candidates should have studied Biology instead of Mathematics in 10+2 (or equivalent) qualifying examination.
Minimum 45% marks should have been scored by the candidates in each subject in their 10+2 (or equivalent) examination.
Reserved category of Chhattisgarh should have secured minimum 40% marks.
Those candidates who have passed the examination with grace marks will be considered eligible if they secure the minimum pass percentage in each subject. However, the grace marks will not be considered while computing the aggregate percentage for the admissions.
For admissions into the participating institutes, the candidates need to meet the following criteria:
General Category - Minimum 10% of marks in CG PET 2020.
SC/ST Category - Minimum 5% of marks in CG PET 2020
JEE Main qualified candidates will be eligible for direct admissions.
The authorities will release the application form of CG PET 2020 on March 17. Candidates will be able to fill out the application form only in online mode. Before filling out the application form, the candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria of CG PET 2020. Personal, academic and contact details have to be provided in the application form. The final date to submit the application form is April 12, 2020. It has to be noted that invalid applications will not be accepted by the authorities.
