No, only those students who live in Chhattisgarh can give CGPET.But if you want to get admission in colleges under CGPET, you can apply through JEE mains rank if you fit in eligiblity criteria.

see most of the engineering entrance exam needs 10+2 course qualification to get admission in btech exam. see there is one advantage for diploma passed candidates that you can join through lateral entry exam. and you can directly join from second year of btech course. in that way your 1 year will be saved.

CG PET Eligibility Criteria 2019 related to Qualifying Examination :
Candidates applying for the CG PET exam must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Technical vocational courses as optional subjects. Candidates applying for the B.Tech Biotechnology must have studied Biology instead of Mathematics in their 10+2.

CG PET 2019 Eligibility Criteria related to Pass Percentage :
Candidates must have scored a minimum of 45% marks in each of the subjects in their class XII/10+2 or equivalent. Candidates from Reserved Category of Chhattisgarh should have scored at least a minimum of 40% in their Class 10+2.

CG PET 2019 Eligibility Criteria related to Domicile Requirements :
All candidates must produce residence proof as per the guidelines of the Government. Candidates must get the domicile certificate ready as proof of their residency which will be required during counselling and admissions.

CG PET 2019 Eligibility Criteria related to Admissions

Candidates must have qualified for CG PET 2019. Candidates who have qualified in CG PET 2019 are also eligible for the seats earmarked for the same.

CG PET 2019: Candidates should have secured at least 10% of the marks in the entrance test. SC/ST candidates of Chhattisgarh must have secured a minimum of 5% in CG PET 2019 exam.

CG PET 2019: All candidates applying on the basis of the CG PET 2019 scores must have secured at least 10% of the actual marks. Reserved category candidates of Chhattisgarh must have scored a minimum of 5% marks in CG PET 2019.
