The State CET cell, Maharashtra, has prepared the MHT CET exam result using a normalisation procedure for allotment of ranks and to prepare the MHT CET merit list. The MHT CET results will be declared in the form of percentiles ranging from 100 to 0. Those who secured a percentile of 100 will be the MHT CET 2026 toppers. Additionally, the scores that fall between the highest and lowest will be converted to the relevant percentiles.
Since the MHT CET exam is held on different days, the need for standardising the MHT CET 2026 results arises to ensure a certain degree of fairness to all candidates. The authorities make use of the normalisation process to prepare the results of MHT CET. The percentile scores of MHT CET candidates are calculated up to five decimal places. The formula of the MHT CET normalisation process is as follows:

MHT-CET is a computer based test conducted only at allotted exam centers, not from home or personal PCs, Students from outside Maharashtra can appear for the exam at selected centres during application. Non-Maharashtra candidates usually can't claim state quota seats through CAP and often use JEE Main scores instead.
