CG PET 2026 Counselling Procedure

Candidates can refer to the following steps to understand the procedure for CGPET counselling 2026.

Step 1: Registration- CG PET counselling registration 2026 link is updated on the official website. Candidates have to register online for CG 2026 counselling by entering the following details-

• JEE Main 2026 / CG PET 2026 Roll Number/Qualifying Exam Roll Number

• Date of Birth

• Create Password

• Domicile of the candidate

Once the above details have been entered, a unique registration number will be generated. Candidates have to login to the candidate portal using the registration number and password (set during registration). After successful login, candidates will have to enter the following details-

• Name of the Candidate

• Father’s Name

• Mother’s Name

• Nationality

• Date of Birth

• Gender

• Category

• Language

• Religion

• Region

• Family Income

• Address

• State

• Pin Code

• Phone Number

• Mobile Number

• Guardian’s Phone Number

Step 2: Uploading of Images- After this, candidates will have to upload the scanned images of their photograph and signature as per the specifications provided by the authorities.

Step 3: Payment of Fees- Once the candidates have uploaded the scanned images of their documents, they will have to pay the counselling fee of CG PET 2026 online mode through credit/debit card or internet banking.

Step 4: Choice Locking- After the payment of fees, candidates will have to fill in the choices of institutes and courses as per the schedule. Candidates are advised to add the maximum number of choices to increase the chances of admission. Candidates will have the option to add, delete, modify, and rearrange their choices. Candidates have to lock their choices before the last date and take a printout of the application form along with the filled choices.

Step 5: Document Verification- After the choice-locking process is done, candidates will have to report to the allotted centres for document verification. Candidates must carry their original documents along with Xerox copies to the centres. The authorities will provide a receipt cum acknowledgement slip to the candidates after successful document verification.

Note- If a candidate is unable to report to the counselling centre due to any authentic issue then the parents of the candidate can attend the counselling session with a medical certificate of their ward. However, the candidate will also have to authorise their parents to attend CG PET 2026 counselling sessions and document verification.

CG PET Seat Allotment 2026

The authority has announced the CG PET 2026 seat allotment result for round 1 on the official website. Candidates need to provide the application number and password to check the CG PET seat allotment 2026. It must be noted that allotment of Chhattisgarh state quota seats will be done on the merit of CG PET 2026, and allotment of other states will be done based on JEE Main scores. Candidates have to download their CG PET seat allotment letter 2026 and report to the allotted institute to confirm their admission along with the CG PET seat allotment letter.

Reporting at the allotted institute

Candidates allotted seats will have to report to the allotted institute along with the seat allotment letter to pay the admission fees, submit all the required documents and confirm their admission.

The following documents have to be submitted by candidates while reporting at the allotted institute-

• Class 10 Pass Certificate or Birth Certificate

• Class 12 Mark Sheet

• Provisional Allotment Letter

• JEE Main/ CG PET Mark Sheet

• Domicile Certificate

• Migration Letter

• Conduct a Certificate from the Institute previously attended

• Category Certificate (if applicable)

• 3 Passport Size Photographs

• Gap Letter (if the candidate had taken a break between class 12 exam and JEE Main/ CG PET)
