Ask your question related to COMEDK UGET

Hello,

No, your COMEDK application form will not get rejected for this small mistake. Since the spelling is correct and only a space is missing, it should not be a major issue.

However, to be sure, you can contact COMEDK authorities and confirm if any correction is needed.

Hope it helps !

Hello student,

Since you've already applied to top private colleges like BITS, VIT, Manipal, and COMEDK, you can consider applying to:

  • IIIT Hyderabad – Known for its strong computer science program and research opportunities.

  • Shiv Nadar University – Offers a solid CS program with good placements and industry exposure.

  • Ashoka University – Strong CS curriculum with an interdisciplinary approach.

  • UPES Dehradun – Good for CSE with specializations in AI, Data Science, and Cybersecurity.

  • Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham – Consistently ranked well for CS and known for good placements.

These colleges have a good academic reputation and offer strong placement support.

Hello there,

Your son has a strong 95.2% percentile in JEE Mains, which gives him a good chance for CS in decent colleges through COMEDK and Manipal. Here's a clear plan:

  1. Current Applications:

    • Manipal: Good chance for CS at Manipal or Jaipur campus.
    • VIT Vellore: High chance of getting CS in the second or third category.
    • COMEDK: Likely to secure CS in top colleges like RV, BMS, or MSRIT with that percentile.

    • BITS: If he's comfortable with ECE in Goa, that's a strong backup option since BITS has good placement in both CS and ECE.

  2. Additional Applications: No need to apply to more private universities unless you want extra backup.

  3. Symbiosis vs Kalinga:

    • Symbiosis: Better for management and business fields, not as strong in engineering.

    • Kalinga (KIIT): Better for engineering with strong infrastructure and placement in CS and IT fields.

Recommendation: KIIT is a better choice for engineering.

Overall, the current options (Manipal, VIT, COMEDK, BITS) are sufficient for CS. KIIT could be a backup, but Symbiosis is less suitable for CS.

hi ,

No, you cannot create a new COMEDK account with the same Aadhaar number once it has already been registered. However, you can try the following solutions:

Solution 1: Correction via COMEDK Helpdesk

  • COMEDK allows limited corrections during the application correction window (if provided).
  • Contact COMEDK Helpdesk via email or phone and request a name correction.
  • Visit the official website: www.comedk.org (https://www.comedk.org/) for contact details.

Solution 2: Try Registering with an Alternative ID

  • If COMEDK does not allow edits and you haven’t completed the full application yet, try registering with a different mobile number and email ID and use another ID proof (like Passport, PAN, or a school ID).

Solution 3: Edit During Correction Window

  • If COMEDK opens a correction window, log in to your account and edit the name if allowed.

hope this helps

Thank you

Till date I have been unable to locate any application form nor template for this VTU eligibility certificate, nor if it's an online / offline process. The site itself seems outdated and many details are from years ago.

Also the term OCI is nt mentioned anywhere. They seem to assume that all PIO/NRI applicants have studied abroad and need to pay Rs. 12k for this certificate even if the kid has studied 12th std CBSE/PUC/ICSE etc in India.

ComedK is blindly insisting on this so called eligibility corticate. It would ofcourse make sense if the kid has actually studied abroad and seeking admission in India.

Hello aspirant,
