MDL is a public sector undertaking and India’s leading Shipbuilding company. The company will hire graduates in Mechanical or Electrical engineering on the basis of their scores in GATE 2024. MDL Recruitment Application form 2024
The authorities will release the application form of MDL recruitment 2024 through GATE on the official website. The application process of MDL recruitment through GATE 2024 comprises of two steps which are given below:

Payment of Processing Fee
Candidates have to pay the application processing fees of Rs 300 (excluding Rs 40 bank charges) at the nearest SBI branch using SBI Challan provided with the advertisement. SC/ ST/ PWD (Persons With Disability) were exempted from paying the fees. Challan format other than the one provided in the notification was not accepted.
The challan has three parts: Bank’s Copy, MDL’s Copy & Candidate’s Copy.
The candidates are required to have all these three parts while making the payment.
After payment, the bank retained the Bank’ Copy, and return the other two parts (MDL’s Copy and Candidate’s Copy) of the Challan after duly filling the parts with necessary information and putting in the bank’s seal as an acknowledgement of receipt of processing fees and bank charges.
Enter Payment Details in the Application Form: The details of remittance, including the name and code of the Bank, Journal No., had to be entered in Section 3 of the Online MDL Application Form.
‘MDL’s Copy’ section of the Challan along with the completed application form had to be sent in an envelope superscribing “Advertisement Ref. No. & Post applied for” through post or courier to the following address:

Filling and Submission of MDL Recruitment Application Form 2023: To fill the online application form, the candidate has to log on to the application portal of the company.
Click on “Online Recruitment” and then choose the relevant post applied for
The application form will include many mandatory fields like personal details and academic qualification. There is also a section where candidates have to enter their GATE 2024 registration number. The registration details will be available in the GATE 2024 Admit Card.
The candidate has to upload a photograph and signature in the prescribed format.
Click the Submit button and a unique registration number will be generated upon successful registration.
A validation link will be sent to the registered email ID. Click on the link to complete the validation
Take a printout of the completed MDL application form 2024.
MDL Recruitment through GATE 2024 Selection Process
The selection of candidates for MDL 2024 recruitment through GATE will be done in three steps:
GATE Examination: Candidates desirous of employment at MDL need to appear in GATE 2024 in the relevant discipline as mentioned in the qualifying requirements. Weightage given to GATE 2024 marks is 85 marks of a total 100.
Personal Interview (PI): Based on GATE 2024 marks, candidates will be shortlisted for PI that will be conducted by the company. To be eligible to participate in PI, candidates need to score a minimum 60 marks out of 100. Weightage given to candidates is 15 marks of a total 100.
Final Selection: Candidates will be selected on the basis of marks obtained in GATE 2024 and performance in PI.
Grade and Pay Scale
Candidates interested in MDL recruitment through GATE 2024 can check the grade and pay scale for the job profile from the table given below.

Training Period and Probation: Candidates who are finally selected will be put on probation for a period of one year. Post successful completion of probation, posts will be confirmed.
GATE Cutoff Scores for MDL Recruitment
While GATE qualification is an important criterion for employment at MDL, candidates must also meet the GATE 2024 cutoff score determined by the company for employment. The GATE cutoff 2024 will be used to screen candidates, and is the minimum score below which no GATE qualified candidate will be considered for recruitment. Also, the GATE cutoff 2024 will be different for different GATE papers. So, candidates need to check the job profile and GATE cutoff criteria before applying.

If you are notified to correct your GATE application and the three day period has lapsed, it is advisable to refer to the authorities of the exam who have furnished the set of guidelines. GATE exam is mostly open for the application correction period within the defined timeframe, and failure to do so may mean the rejection of an application or some problems with it.
But if you have cleared your application within the time frame, your eligibility depends upon the policies of GATE. Generally, it is best to communicate with GATE help desk or the examination authority directly and present your matter. They will give you clarity about whether they are accepting or rejecting your application. It would also be advisable to maintain an account of all communication and changes made. To be proactive about this would increase your chances of a good outcome.

You can easily edit GATE 2025 application form.it provides edit option for Name, DOB, Details of Parents/ Guardian, Correspondence address & Qualifying degree Details of the candidates in which only name and DOB modification will chargeable i.e 500 rupees for each change.
The details can be changed by 6th November 2024 only so be fast and change your graduation year otherwise the correction window will be closed soon.
