IISc M.Tech (Online) Admission 2026

Admission to IISc Bengaluru MTech (Online) programme is made based on a written test. Prospective candidates must be nominated by an organisation having a MoA with IISc for the M.Tech.(Online) Degree Programme. This two-year sponsored programme from IISc Bengaluru requires candidates to have a four-year BE, BTech or equivalent degree.

IISc MTech (Online) Eligibility Criteria

Candidates are nominated by their organisation and meet the following common eligibility criteria:

  • Educational Qualification: BE, BTech or equivalent degree with a minimum

  • CGPA/percentage in all degrees and specific streams requirements.

  • Work Experience: At least two years of industry experience at the time

  • of joining the programme.

  • Other Requirements: Applicants must have strong training in mathematics and programming.

IISc MTech Online Admission 2026: Selection Process

IISc Admission 2026 for MTech Online programme is strictly based on an online written test conducted by IISc. All nominated candidates who have applied to the programme and meet the eligibility criteria will be called for an online written or programming test for the streams they have applied to.

  • Streams: Artificial Intelligence, Data Science and Business Analytics, and Electronics and Communication Engineering.

IISc Bangalore does not offer a B.Tech or undergraduate program in Aeronautical Engineering through JEE Main. IISc offers a B.Sc (Research) program for undergraduate students, and admission to this is possible through JEE Advanced, not JEE Main.
