    IISc M.Tech (Online) Eligibility Criteria 2026

    IISc M.Tech (Online) is a sponsored degree programme. Candidates cannot apply for the programme individually. They must be nominated by their companies, which must have an MoU with IISc.

    Eligibility Requirements:

    • Academic Requirement: BE/BTech/BS (4 years) or equivalent in a relevant discipline.

    • Marks: A minimum of 70% or equivalent in all degrees.

    • Experience Requirement: At least two years of industry experience at the time of joining.

    IISc Admission 2026 for MTech Online programme is strictly based on an online written test conducted by IISc.     I passed class 12th with pcb in 2025. now I wish to join IISc via IAT. if I take maths on demand exam through NIOS in 2027, will that be enough? As in, will two different marksheets with two year gap be valid? please let me know what should I do?

    This is an important eligibility issue. For the IISc BS (Research) programme, candidates are required to have Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main subjects in their qualifying Class 12/equivalent examination. The IISc admission notice also specifies that the Class 12 marksheet submitted should be issued by a single examination board.
