GATE 2025 Score Card Validity: IIT Roorkee has issued the GATE scorecard 2025 on March 28, 2025. Candidates can access the GATE 2025 scorecard link on the official website, gate2025.iitr.ac.in. To download the GATE 2025 score card, candidates must need their Email ID and password. Candidates can download the GATE 2025 scorecard from March 28 to May 31, 2025. However, candidates can still download the GATE 2025 scorecard till December 31 by paying a fee of Rs. 500. The validity of the GATE score card is three years from the date of the result announcement. The GATE Score Card will be valid for three years from the date of issue. GATE Scores not only makes it eligible for the candidates to pursue technical PG studies in IIT’s, IISC and NIT’s but also allows them in getting job opportunities directly in Public Sector Units. Candidate who gets a GATE All India rank below 150, then he may directly get selected in any of the Public Sector Units under the Central Government.

How is the GATE 2025 Score Calculated?
One month after the GATE exam, the GATE scorecard has been released on March 28, 2025. The scorecard will display the marks obtained by the candidate and the All India Rank (AIR) achieved in the GATE examination. The GATE score is calculated by IITs using a specific formula, converting the marks into a scale of 1000s, allowing the candidate to receive an All India Rank based on their score. While the marks are out of 100, the ranking is provided on a scale of 1000s.
GATE Score Non-Qualified Candidates
Candidates who didn’t get qualified in GATE Score are not eligible in any of the IIT’s, IISC and NIT’s. But these candidates can download the GATE Score Card and keep it as a record. Though these non-qualified candidates don’t get a GATE Score, they may get the opportunity in Big Companies in their future based upon the dedication and effort they have given to the GATE Exam.
What is the GATE Exam?
GATE is a Graduate Aptitude Engineering Test conducted annually by IITS and IISC. Engineering graduates and Candidates who have completed their MSc’s are eligible to apply for the GATE exam. Every year in February, the GATE exam will be conducted. This examination will be of 3 hours duration with 65 questions for a total of 100 marks. The syllabus of the GATE exam will include verbal ability, numerical ability and technical ability, along with English language skills.
