GATE 2026 Registration Date - IIT Guwahati has revised the GATE registration 2026 dates on the official website, gate2026.iitg.ac.in. According to the notification, the GATE 2026 registration began on August 28, 2025. Only registered candidates will be allowed to attempt the GATE Exam. The Application form includes steps like sign-up, form filling, document upload and fee payment. The last date to submit the GATE 2026 registration is September 28, 2025, without a late fee. The complete process of registration will be conducted in online mode only. The authority will conduct the GATE 2026 examination on February 7, 8, 14 and 15, 2026. GATE 2026 Admit Card Release Date

IIT Guwahati will release the admit card for GATE 2026 examination on January 2, 2026. Only candidates with the admit card will be allowed to enter the examination hall. Registered candidates will be able to download GATE Admit card by following the steps given below

  • Log in by entering the enrollment ID, registered email ID, password, and captcha.

Many Indian IDs have surname written first, while the portal generates it as first–middle–last. Since all three parts of your name (Vikash, Rameshbhai, Bhagel) are correct, there won’t be any issue. Just ensure you upload the correct ID proof. During verification, they check spelling, photo, and signature, not the word order.
