IIT, Madras has released the GATE 2019 scorecard in online mode on March 19, a day before the scheduled date.

The window to challenge the official answer key of GATE 2019 has closed. Candidates were able to challenge the answers by submitting documented proof along with a payment of Rs. 500 in online mode. To challenge the answer key, the candidates had to log into their accounts.

IIT Madras releases the official GATE 2019 answer key along with the question papers for all the 24 papers. Candidates can use the download links give and download both the question paper and the corresponding answer key.

The response sheet for all 24 GATE 2019 papers is now available. Candidates will have to log into their accounts to check the response sheet. Correction facility for name of the candidates is also open. Candidates who wish to correct their name can send an email to [email protected] till February 17 with subject: Name correction, enrollment ID. Details such as enrollment ID, registration number, present name, correct name and soft copy of name proof has to be provided in the email.

IIT Madras concluded GATE CY, ME-1, MN, ME-2, XE, XL and TF paper on February 2 in online mode. The authorities are conducting GATE 2019 on February 2, 3, 9 and 10 in two shifts per day for 24 papers. The result of the entrance examination will be announced on March 16 in online mode. IIT Madras has released GATE 2019 admit card for exams to be held on February 2, 3, 9 and 10. Candidates can download their admit card from GOAPS website using their enrollment ID and password. Candidates should verify their particulars as mentioned in admit card and report to concerned authority in case any discrepancies.

IIT Madras has published the detailed exam schedule of GATE 2019. The entrance examination will be conducted on February 2, 3, 9 and 10 in multiple shifts. While most of the papers are one-session exams, Civil and Mechanical Engineering papers will be conducted over two sessions.

The authorities have released two separate lists of candidates who have been rejected. In one of the lists, the enrolment IDs of those candidates have been mentioned who did not meet the prescribed eligibility criteria of GATE 2019. However, in another list, the enrolment IDs of those candidates are given, who have filled the application form of GATE 2019 twice, hence, they have been rejected to appear in the entrance exam.

IIT Madras has closed the correction facility to change examination cities on November 17 which initially started from November 13. Candidates who had to change their cities had to log in to the application portal and choose different cities in order of preference and pay the required fees to confirm their change of examination cities.

The correction facility to change examination cities has been opened by IIT Madras from November 13. The facility will be open until November 16 for candidates who wish to change their earlier selected exam cities. The change in examination cities will be updated only after payment of applicable charges. To change the examination cities, candidates will have to login to their application portal using their email address and password and select the desired country/cities where they wish to take the examination and thereafter will be redirected to payment gateway. After successful payment, the change of examination city will come into effect.

Candidates could make the possible changes in application form of GATE 2019 by login to application portal from October 31 to November 9. They were required to pay the requisite amount of fee wherever applicable.

The applications with marked defect(s) had to be attended on an urgent basis without which candidates will not be allowed to appear for the national level entrance examination.

The conducting body of GATE 2019 entrance examination has started the correction facility for change in status of Gender / Category / PwD Status / Dyslexia and other similar learning disabilities on October 31. Candidates can make possible changes in application form of GATE 2019 by login to application portal. Candidates who wish to make possible changes in application will have to pay Rs. 750 first in case of change from Female to Male/Transgender (not applicable for SC/ST & PwD candidates) or change from SC/ST to Gen/OBC (not applicable to Female & PwD candidates) or change from PwD to non-PwD status (not applicable to Female & SC/ST candidates). Change in Gender/ Category/ PwD status/ Dyslexia will only be effective after payment has been done. The last date to attend marked defect(s) in application form is today. Candidates must attend them immediately failing which will lead to rejection of applications.

IIT Madras, conducting body of GATE has released GATE 2019 mock test for candidates on October 30. Mock test of GATE 2019 is available for each exam paper separately. Candidates can access them from official website of GATE 2019 for which no login will be required. The authorities will also commence correction of Gender / Category / PwD Status / Dyslexia and other similar learning disabilities in GATE 2019 application form from October 31 which will be available till November 7, 2018.

IIT Madras has previously extended the last date of attending marked defect(s) in application form till October 28. As per the authorities, originally the last date to correct details in defect(s) marked in application form of GATE 2019 was October 25. Candidates whose defects(s) are not attended, such candidates will not be allowed to sit for GATE 2019 examination.

The correction window for GATE application form 2019 opens on September 27. Earlier the scheduled date for correction window to commence was September 24 which was further extended till 25. Candidates who have filled and submitted the application form can make corrections in it, if they have made any mistakes. Candidates will not be able to make changes in Gender, Category, PwD Status, Dyslexia and other similar learning disabilities now as correction dates for them have not been announced.

The application form of GATE 2019 will now be available till September 22, 2018 for all candidates which was earlier scheduled to be closed on September 21. Registered candidates will be able to avail the facility of the correction window from September 24 to October 1, 2018. The final date for requesting a change of exam city (with fee applicable) is November 16, 2018.
