  • Create a Well Planned Schedule – One of the first things that the candidates should complete is to create a schedule. The prepared schedule should be divided well. Study of subjects and topics should be planned in such a manner that it does not feel monotonous. Breaks should also be provided in between to help the candidates refresh their minds.

  • Be Familiar with the Syllabus – It is important for the candidates to be familiar with the official syllabus of Electronics and Communication Engineering for GATE 2020. If the candidates know the syllabus well, then they will be able to accordingly plan their studies since they will be aware of which topics are likely to come.

  • Make Sure to Attempt Mock Test & Sample Papers – One of the most important and effective ways of preparing for the examination is to attempt GATE mock tests and sample papers. Through the mock tests and sample papers, the candidates will be able to practically apply the theories while also learning from their mistakes. Time management can also be learned.

  • Refer to the Best Books – For the preparation, the most recommended and popular books should be referred. Through the different books, the candidates can compile and study for the examination comfortably since all the material will be with them.

  • Take Small Breaks in Between – It is important to take the much-needed breaks in between. A stressed mind will not have the capacity to learn new concepts. Go for walk, listen to music, play with friends or anything, but take a break. Sleep and taking care of the health is also equally important.
