Apply as OBC for GATE 2026 :

OBC Creamy Layer : If your family's annual income exceeds Rs 8 lakh , you are considered part of the creamy layer and are not eligible for OBC reservation benefits.

Non-Creamy Layer : If your family's income is below Rs 8 lakh , you qualify as non-creamy layer OBC and are eligible for reservation benefits.

If your father's income remains above Rs 8 lakh, you still fall under the creamy layer and cannot claim OBC benefits for GATE 2026.

However, if the income drops below Rs 8 lakh in the future, and you meet other eligibility criteria , you can submit as OBC (non-creamy layer) in subsequent years with the proper certificate.

The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025 was conducted on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025. The Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (DA) paper is scheduled for February 15, 2025. Therefore, the DA question papers for February 1 and 2 are not available.
