About JET 2020

Jain University will conduct the JET 2020  for various undergraduate engineering programmes.  Registrations for JET 2020 will commence from November 18, 2019 and the last date for filling the application form is April 23. Candidates must ensure that they must meet the requisite eligibility criteria before they start filling the application form of  JET 2020. The admit card of JET 2020 will be available tentatively from the first week of April in online mode. JET result 2020 will be announced on April 27, while seat allotment will take place after counselling.

JET 2020 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria of JET 2020 includes the subjects which they must have studied in their class XII and the minimum marks which they must score. 

In order to be eligible to appear for JET 2020, candidates should have passed from any of the boards that are listed below: 

    • PUC

    • ICSE

    • CBSE

As part of JET 2020 eligibility criteria, candidates should have Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with any one of the following subjects: 

    • Biology

    • Biotechnology

    • Chemistry

    • Technical vocational subject

According to JET eligibility criteria 2020, candidates belonging to different categories should have  scored at least the minimum marks that are given below to be eligible to appear for JET 2020:

JET 2020 Application Process

Candidates can fill the application form of JET 2020 in online mode from November 18, 2019. The JET 2020 application form will be available till April 23, 2020. The application form of JET 2020 can be obtained by paying Rs 550 including GST.

Step 6-Pay the fee for the application form of JET 2020

JET 2020 Mock Test

The mock test of JET 2020 will be made available by Jain University so that they can get an idea about the kind of questions that they will get and candidates will also be able to assess their level of preparation. With the help of mock test of JET 2020, candidates will be able to identify their strong and weak areas. 


JET 2020 Admit Card

The admit card of JET 2020 will be issued by Jain University in online mode for only those candidates who have been able to successfully fill the application form. The JET 2020 admit card will be available in online mode tentatively in the third week of April.

Candidates will have to download the JET 2020 admit card by entering their application number and date of birth.

JET 2020 Counselling

Mode of Counselling: Offline

Candidates will be invited for the counselling of JET 2020 through email from the University. Provisional admission will be given to the candidates based on their merit. A number of certificates will have to be produced by the candidates at the University. The allotment of seats will be done in offline mode i.e., the candidates will have to be physically present in the University. Allotment will be done after checking the candidate's rank, preferences and availability of seat.

  • 10 passport size photographs
  • Class 10 & class 12/PUC/SYJC/equivalent exam (original +2 copies)
  • Transfer certificate form school/college last attended (original +2 copies)

Hii,

The Basic eligibility criteria for JET 2020 is the candidate must have passed 10+2 from a recognised Board of University with minimum 50% of marks. Speaking about the age eligibility criteria the candidate must not exceed more than 25 years of age. All the Intermediate second year students are also eligible to write the exam.

JET Eligibility Criteria -

The eligibility criteria of JET is a set of parameters prescribed by the university which candidates have to fulfil mandatorily.

  • To be eligible for JET, candidates need to have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam from PUC or ISC/ CBSE. They need to have Physics and Mathematics as their compulsory subjects along with any one of the following as third subject - Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Technical Vocational subject in their 10+2.

  • Candidates must have secured at least 60% and above in the subjects taken together in PUC/ SYJC/ 12th or equivalent exam to be considered eligible for JET.

  • For those belonging to SC or ST categories, they need to have secured minimum 55% and above in PUC/ SYJC/ 12th or equivalent exam to be eligible.

  • Candidates who are awaiting results of their 10+2 or equivalent exams can also apply for JET.
