Candidates preparing for the upcoming SRMJEEE exam should refer to the SRM eligibility criteria 2026 for B.Tech. The SRM entrance exam 2026 eligibility conditions consist of age limit, nationality, qualifying marks, and academic required are more. Nationality: Applicants must be Indian citizens, NRIs, PIOs, or OCI cardholders. International students can also apply under a separate category.
Age Criteria: Candidates should have attained the age of 16 years and 6 months by July 31 of the calendar year in which the 12th Board examination is to be held.
Qualifying Examination: Applicant should have passed/appearing 10+2 with a minimum of 60% aggregate of 3 subjects-Physics, Mathematics and at least one of Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Computer Science / Information Technology / Informatics Practices / Engineering Graphics / Botany and Zoology as major subjects in regular stream from any board within India, CBSE, ISCE, IB or NIOS*

Candidates who have passed the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma or A-level with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics / Biology / Botany & Zoology / Biotechnology as main subjects from any international school will also be eligible. |

Yes, if you have passed class 12th with the science stream and have mathematics as a main subject, then you can appear for the SRMJEEE exam. This exam is only for the science stream and has Physics, Chemistry and Maths and those students who have appeared for the exam in 2023, 2024 and are appearing in the 2025 examination. This exam consists of a total of 110 questions, of which 35 are from Physics and Chemistry subjects, and 40 are from Mathematics. There is no negative marking in this exam, and 1 mark is awarded for each correct answer. Different colleges have different ranks for scholarships. In case of most colleges of SRM, the scholarship is for ranks under 150, but in case of SRM Tiruchirappalli, the last rank of scholarship is 6523, and according to the rank 2562, the rank-based scholarship is 15 per cent for students from all 12 std. boards
To get CSE at SRM Delhi-NCR (Sonepat) campus through SRMJEEE, your rank should be around 14,000 to 15,500. This campus has slightly relaxed cutoffs compared to the main Chennai campus, which typically closes CSE around 9,000 or lower. So, a rank under 15,000 gives you a good chance for CSE at the Delhi campus.
