VITEEE 2026 Marking Scheme- VIT Vellore has announced the VITEEE 2026 marking scheme on the official website, vit.ac.in. The VITEEE marking scheme was released along with the brochure. It includes number of questions, types of questions, section-wise marks distribution and rules for negative marking. Candidates can check the marking scheme of VITEEE 2026 on this page as well. The VITEEE exam is being conducted from April 28 to May 3, 2026.

There will be a total of 125 MCQ-type questions in VITEEE 2026, divided among subjects such as Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Aptitude and English. Each question will carry 4 marks, and candidates will be awarded +4 marks for each correct attempt. For each incorrect answer, 1 mark will be deducted(-1). Vellore Institute of Technology University has released the VITEEE 2026 marking scheme on the official website. VITEEE examination is conducted once in a year for B.Tech admission in 4 colleges of VIT University. The exam consists of 125 MCQ-type questions of subjects like Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Aptitude and English. There will be 125 questions in the VITEEE 2026 exam.
Each question will carry 4 marks.
There will be 5 sections including, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Aptitude and English.
+4 for each correct answer, and 0 for wrong/unattempted questions.
There is negative marking for each wrong answer, with one mark deducted (-1) for every incorrect response.

The official VITEEE 2027 syllabus will be released along with the admission brochure, which is usually published a few months before the application process begins. The syllabus is generally based on the Class 11 and Class 12 curriculum.
