Candidates must have passed or must be appearing for class 10th from any recognized board.
Students should not be more than 19 years of age as of July 31, 2026.
Aspirants seeking admission through PCM courses should not be more than 23 years of age as of August 1, 2026, and should have passed class 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics
Candidates seeking admission through vocational courses must not be more than 23 years of age as of August 1, 2026, and should have passed in 10+2 (Vocational)/ITI/ NERIST Certificate in any one of the following streams or trades:
Agricultural Engineering - Farm Equipment/Food Processing
Civil Engineering - Construction Technology (Draftsmanship/Surveyor)
Electronics and Communications Engineering - Electronics Technology or Electronics Maintenance
Electrical Engineering - Electrical Technology or Electrical Maintenance
Mechanical Engineering - Mechanical Craftsmanship/Automobile Technology and Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (R&AC) are eligible.
Students seeking admission through PCB courses should not be more than 23 years of age as of August 1, 2026, and should have passed Class 12 (PCB)/ Higher Secondary (PCB) with Chemistry, Physics & Biology.
Candidates should not be more than 30/33/35 years of age as of July 31, 2026 for (GEN/OBC and Female/SC or ST or PwD) and should have passed a 3-year diploma degree with a minimum 60% marks/CGPA of 6.0 on a 10 points scale or NERIST Diploma level with a minimum of CGPA 6.0
