AEEE Slot Booking 2018 –Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham had opened AEEE 2018 slot booking on April 2. Registered candidates who had filled the application form of the computer-based test (CBT) needed to participate in AEEE slot booking process. During the slot booking of AEEE 2018, candidates had to go through five steps, starting with logging in and selecting a test date. Only after candidates complete all the steps successfully, will they be able to select a preferred centre, date, and time slot. The AEEEE 2018 exam was conducted in multiple slots and dates, with slots alloted on first-come-first-served basis. So, candidates are urged not to wait until the closing hours to participate in AEEE slot booking 2018 (Amrita slot booking). Or else, if slots get filled, the candidate will not get a preferred slot. After successfully booking a slot, the candidate were able to download the AEEE admit card, which had details like the name of the candidate and test slot. In such cases where a test centre that the candidate had chosen got cancelled due to insufficient candidates, the candidate was allocated a centre nearest to the one chosen. Procedure for AEEE 2018 Slot Booking (Amrita Slot Booking)
The AEEE slot booking process comprises the following steps. Since the slot booking is over, the candidates can check the steps for reference purpose.
Step 1: Log-in
Candidate can log in to the Amrita slot booking portal using their application number and date of birth.
Step 2: Select Test Centre
After logging in, the candidate will have to select a test centre. The slot booking window at this stage will display the available test centres and their corresponding addresses. After selecting a centre, the candidate must click on “Continue”.
In case the candidate any trouble at this stage, he/she needs to close the browser and log in again. It is also advisable not to use the back button in such cases.
Step 3: Select Test Date
Upon selecting the test centre, the selection will be displayed on the screen. The available test dates for that centre will also be displayed in a calendar, highlighted in green. To chose a date, the candidate simply needs to click on one of the highlighted dates. The candidate will then click on “Continue”.
Step 4: Select Test Slot
The AEEE 2018 entrance exam will be held in three time slots. In this step, the candidate has to select the slot from the available ones, which will be highlighted in green with their status marked as “Available”. However, since many candidates may be accessing the Amrita slot booking portal at the same time, even if a candidate selects an available slot, it may show as not available as it has been allotted to some other candidate in real time. In such case, the candidate may have to choose another time slot.
It must be noted that alottment of "Date and Time Slot" will be done on a first-come-first serve basis. After selecting the slot, the candidate has to click on “Confirm Slot” button. Once a slot is booked, requests for change will not be entertained.
Step 5: Print the AEEE Hall Ticket
Upon confirming the slot booking, selection information will be displayed on the screen along with “print AEEE 2018 Hall Ticket” option. Clicking on the option will generate the AEEE Hall Ticket. The candidate needs to take a printout of the Hall Ticket.
