Im currently pursuing my engineering 3rd year degree Until which year am i eligible to take GATE exam???. My graduation completion year—2023

Nimisha Sharma 20th Sep, 2021
As per the newly changes introduced from the year 2021, candidates who have successfully completed their 10+2+2 or 10+3+1 are eligible to apply.

Also those who are currently appearing in the 3rd year of their UG degree/ higher years of study or graduated in any Govt. approved degree course in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture/ Science/ Arts/ Commerce are eligible to apply for Gate exam 2022.

That means you are eligible to take the exam next year.

Hello. Im giving Gate exam in 2022. I want to opt for two papers. Will my secondary paper marks have any affect on primary paper marks? Or whether their marks are unrelated to each other?

Tamaghna Das 20th Sep, 2021

Hi Neha,

The provision of writing a secondary specialization paper has been brought out lately. The secondary paper will be a fixed and will be pre-determined by your primary paper.

Being a GATE-2022 aspirant myself, as far as my knowledge is concerned, the marks or rank of the second paper hasn't got anything to do with the primary paper.

That's all. Thank you and best of luck :)

You can go for the IT companies such as TCS, Cognizant, Accenture etc and can develop a very good career options such as Software Developer, Web Developer, Application Developer, System Development, Block Chain Developer etc.

Now you can go for R&D institutes such as ISRO, BARC, DRDO etc as a scientist/Engineering for different sectional jobs in the institutions. SO you have a broad range of opportunities. The only thing is you must learn the skills well.
